I don't really feel like talking about pins, but I received an LBE today. In it was a pin I have been after a long time..The American Adventure Flag from the Epcot 15th Anniversary CM set. I had forgotten that I had managed to find one. Took one look at it and started to cry....

Maybe it's an omen that something positive will come out of all this horror.....

Leslie, how ironic to get that particular pin at this time. I can understand your tears ... God Bless America - thoughts & prayers for all.

    Leslie,

I can relate very well to your emotional reaction upon the arrival of that pin...although in my case it was the unexpected sight of about 24 small (1' x 2') American flags, uniformly placed in a circular pattern, surrounding the central flower bed at the exit of our subdivision. I burst into tears and had to pause by the curb for a number of minutes.

They weren't there this morning and are not the type normally used by our Association for 4th of July or Labor Day...so I am guessing that someone felt compelled to "speak" from the heart to all who pass by. I, for one, certainly "heard" his or her message.
