Yes it is true! I want to do a review without pictures. I hang my head in shame because this is the first year I have gone without taking my food porn pictures. I just wasn't into it for some reason.
Here are our dinners and one Breakfast. I will skip the QS if that is ok.
Ohana
Mama Melrose
The Wave
Boma
Olivia's
Donald's Safari Breakfast
Night one we headed to Ohana for a All You Can Eat feast! Mmmm this place has never ever been bad!
We were seated quite quickly for our 5:05 ressies. Of course we started with the welcome bread. I wish is was served warm. I see it under the light but it's never warm. Then before our drinks were brought to the table we were served salad. Then came the drinks. I had the Lapu lapu. Mmmm!!
The dumplings and wings soon followed. I am not a huge fan of the wings. I could really do without them. The noodles and veggies came next and I can eat my weight in those noodles no problem! I put the peanut sauce on them. So GOOD!! Finally the meat! First came chicken, then pork, steak and the best for last shrimp. The steak was my least favorite. Usually I am no too impressed with the chicken but it was super juicy this time. The steak was little tough. Finally the bread pudding. It is one of the only break puddings I eat besides the one at Raglan Road. I can't eat it without the sauce. It is so super sweet and yummy!
Ohana is a must do in my opinion. There is only one other thing that would make this restaurant better........The lady that sings and narrates the games gets on my last nerve. If we heard cousins one more time I thought I might rip my hair out. I may need to order two Lapu Lapu drinks next time!!
