A question about pool hooping

How does it Work?
Are dvc members allowed to use any other wdw resort pool (except SAB)? If so, whats to stop anybody else from pool hopping? Do all resorts require room id's to use the pool? I don't remeber ever having to show my room key in order to use the pool before. Who do you talk to in order to do this? Front desk?

Also if you drive to a different resort to use the pool, are you allowed to park there? If so, what do you say or show?

when you check in you get a parking permit - that is all you need.

You call the front desk to make sure that you won't be refuse entry by the security guard. (if the hotel is full - you can't pool hop)

You will also have an WDW ID (your room key and charge - also your ticket if you get the ULPH). this should what hotel you are staying in and if you are a DVC member - this ID says DVC member. If the lifeguard at a pool asks for your ID you need to show it to him.

You aren't allowed in SAB or the pool at the AKL.

the Polyn, Cont, GF, WL/VWL, BW, OKW and all the moderates are okay for pool-hopping,
