A Magical Time!!! ~ 04/21/2014 ~ 4 Night From Port Canaveral

Hi Everyone,

We just booked this cruise and we are so excited because it is Spring Break Week for our four daughters and we are going to keep it a total surprise until the day before we leave. I can't wait to see the shocked looks on their faces when we tell them that they won't be bored during this Spring Break because they are going on a Disney Cruise I will probably need earplugs to mask all the high-pitched girl screams of joy. This will be our daughters' 3rd Disney Cruise and DH and my 10th Disney Cruise (Yeah - we will finally achieve Platinum Status). We are all on a 7-Day Cruise on the Fantasy in November of this year and although our daughters are very exicted about that upcoming cruise they have mentioned that they would like to cruise on one of the classic ships sometime so they will be so thrilled to find out the "Surprise" cruise is on the Magic. We are participating in the FE Exchange for the first time on our cruise in November so if our daughters enjoy it, we will officially sign up afterwards for the FE Exchange on this cruise.

Looking forward to getting to know people before the cruise. It is going to be so hard to keep this secret for 8 months

Your group is as large as my family!!!! Maybe we can schedule an introduction on the first day of the cruise between my daughter who will be 15 on the cruise to your friend's daugther who is 16 and they can hang out together in the TEEN Club. My daughter's 3 younger sisters are not old enough to get into the TEEN club yet so she will be alone and would enjoy knowing someone she could hang with. Should be a great cruise. I just requested to join the Facebook Group but have not received confirmation yet that I was accepted. Are you running the Facebook Group or is another DISer running it? WOW!.....it will be 10 months and 2 weeks for kathy and me .....we just switched cruises till May 5th........ same cruise just 2 weeks later and not the day after EASTER SUNDAY. Did anyone booking know or realize that Easter Sunday falls on April 20th in 2014? Color me "blond".....You GuYs all have a great-great cruise. ..... and save the Hoosier Daddy some ribs at Cookies when you are at C C. BYE.

Husurdady- Sorry to see you leave the cruise!!! Yes I did know it was the day after easter, we had to schedule the cruise along with our kids spring break. I'm worried that WDW will be packed but I'm sure we'll still have a great time.

Everyone else I am sorry I have been MIA all summer. Its been sooo busy and I saw posts here from time to time but nothing seemed too pressing. I will update the first post with all our new attendees. I'm sure this thread will get busier as the date gets closer.

Hi Pam I added all your info! I have a very close friend who also has 4 daughters. They are 9, 7 year old twins and 4 (almost 5). So younger than yours but almost the same age spacing. She has such an opposite life from mine with all my boys! I love to buy them princess costumes and such. It has to be so fun doing disney with 4 girls!!

Yeah - having four daughters can be challenging but I do love buying pretty clothes for them. Going on Disney trips with them is amazing - they are always so happy!!!! Thanks for adding my information and I have been added to the Facebook Group.

Hello! We just told DD about the cruise! Her naughty elf on the shelf spilled the beans when she returned from the north pole. She is so excited! I am excited too... DH and I will have our own stateroom, since DD will be with grandma across the hall!!!

We are breaking away and trying something different this time. We will be going to Universal instead of Disney parks. DD is really into Harry Potter. In the last several months she has read 5 of the books. She even dressed up as Hermione for Halloween. So, just like when it was perfect timing to go to Disney when she was 4 and 5 and thought she herself was a princess, just seems like the timing is right to go check out The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I am sure it will be fun. It just seems so strange...I am sure we will be back to Disney next time!
