The DCL website states that the height requirement for the Aqua Duck is 48 inches. is this if you ride alone? Can a child under 48 inches ride with an adult?

Don't know, but I would think they would have mentioned a split height requirement if it was different...ie, 48" to ride alone, 36" to ride with adult.

Perhaps limiting it to 48" will help with keeping the lines reasonable.

No, I've read in trip reports from those that have sailed that the minimum height is 48 inches even if a child rides with an adult.

To ride alone they have to be 48" tall and 7 years old. YOu have to be 48" to have enough body length to keep yourself inside the tube. There's another water ride at WDW with the same requirement. Our dd is 47" tall - so we are hoping for a growth spurt before March 17.
