4/10/2011 April 10, 2011 Dream 4 Night Cruise

Hello everyone!! I've been following your thread and have posted a few times. We're on this same cruise 4/10 & 4/14 doing a B2B! :cool1: We're not part of the FE or meet and greet though. We're actually meeting our friends from the UK of whom we met back in 2007 on the Disney Wonder (tablemates) and this will be our 4th DCL cruise together! We fly out to Orlando on 4/8 and meet them at the airport. Just wanted to say I hope everyone has a wonderful cruise!! I've gotten some things together but will wait probably until this weekend to actually start the packing.

I see that TECHJPM has a spreadsheet....does happen to know how many
B2B families there actually are? This will be our first B2B cruise and was wondering exactly how this process was going to work. Do you think we will all be escorted off at the same time?

Also, our DD is 13 (almost 14) and was wondering how many other kids her age were going to be on the ship! We cruised back on 3/10 doing a 3N with my sister and her two kids and had a blast but I'm so still excited about this
B2B cruise! Just read a post this morning where some did a B2B on 3/20 and 3/24 and were off the ship by 9:30am and back on at 10:30. That would be awesome!!

We wont be off at the but almost a quarantee were back on at the same time. FIRST! atleast this is what i was told. So take a picture of your reboarding ticket before you give it to the guy at the entrance lol. I have a DD that will be 13 soon(Coral) she is very outgoing and loves the Disney club. Do you have the same room # on both cruises? We do so i think this is supose to be easier since we leave our stuff in the room. IDK if you bring yours to the guest service desk or what if you have two different room #'s. We are in Rm #6634. I am Crystal btw.

Yes we have the same stateroom for both cruises...6656, not too far from you! It would be okay though if DCL wanted to upgrade us to a suite! ;)

I have read reports that if the stateroom is not the same then you would take it to GS and they hold it for you in the back room behind the GS desk but I can't really say for sure as this will be our first B2B!! Very excited!! Up late working trying to stay caught up as this week is one of the busiest I've had and of course I still haven't started packing yet. It will all be worth it though!

We are taking DCL transfers from the resort, so won't arrive until after 1PM. We will see everyone onboard.

Did you see the thread where the person didn't get on the ship til 3:45? It sounds like that is normal for DCL transfers from WDW.

We have done DCL transfers from the resort several times. We usually have to check in before 12 noon and the bus leaves by 12:30PM. Our luggage goes on a separate truck to the ship, so us old folks don't have to see the luggage until we see it in our cabin. This works for us. All reservations are made, don't need to make any changes, like walking on the ship as soon as we are checked in.
I think the 3:30PM reference was for folks arriving late at MCO and were on the DCL bus. If you have transfers DCL will hold the ship if the busses are late or stuck in traffic.

It's getting closer. Over 1 year of counting down and we have 2 more sleeps til we leave!!

Catch ya all on board. We fly out Saturday afternoon..

We are planning to meet at 2:00PM, deck 3, mid-ship at the Bon Voyage lounge; just in case anyone else would like to join in for a meet & drink.:rotfl2:

We are still at the Animnal Kingdom Lodge. It is a wonderful hotel. We will see you later on today.
