It won't be long now until we start talking about how great our trip WAS and start planning our next one. Out on the west coast here it is amazing how many people don't realize what a big difference there is between DL & WDW. Only 8 days until we are living the dream.

I'm jealous!!! I'm already back from my trip. Changed my ressie (again!!) and ended up staying at AKL.

We will be there is 6 days(saturday 7th) until the following Sunday. Does anyone know how crowded it will be i.e. the cheerleading convention this coming weekend and the following weekend with valentines day/presidents week? I am hoping at least mon-fri is not crowded. We went last thanksgiving and you could barely walk through the crowds and ended up missing half the park and shows.

We went last year at the same time and the crowds were minimal , eventhough the cheerleading competitions were going on , the crowds were not bad at all. Over the weekend though on friday it started getting busy , but it was still manageable, you just plan on using fastpass and you will be fine.

Thanks. Do you think the weekdays inbetween the cheerleading and valentines weekend will have crowds low enough to just walk on rides. It would be nice to go on stuff over and over and over, ect.

Maybe not walk on and go , but last year if we had a wait , it was short. But still with that , we still took advantage of EE when possible, that made it even better.

We go every year for the week before Presidents' Day. Last year most of the cheerleaders were gone by Monday. The early part of the week is very light-minimal lines except for things like Splash Mountain (that always seems to have a longer line than anything else) and Buzz Lightyear. But even those lines are short compared to other times of the year. If you go to the parks when they open, you can walk on just about anything. By Thursday afternoon, the lines are increasing and by Saturday before the holiday, it is CROWDED.

I am counting the days til warmer weather. It is below freezing in Washington, DC and more snow and ice are predicted for tonight and tomorrow. I just want to get on the plane and get out of here.
