2020 Watch??

I'm interested in Greece and Norway but it will come down to price. I know I can do Greece on RCL for probably 1/2 of what the Disney rates will be.... I need to sit down tonight and really look over things I guess.

I agree that one day of Iceland is not enough. I see a couple interesting (to me) cruises. But, I think we're sticking with the TA. I've wanted to do one forever and I'm guessing since it's a "same old, same old" we may get a decent deal. (I have a placeholder as well). I'll continue to watch pricing, we may get a military deal down the road as well. The timing is perfect for us and we'll be spending a few days post cruise in Barcelona.

We have done the TA 3 times and loved each one! Enjoy!!

We were hoping for a good transatlantic that was different than the past few years, so disappointed that it is basically the same ports this year. However, the Greece cruise looks very interesting so we might do that this year! I wish it was back to back with the transatlantic though.

We definitely are. The trouble with having kids Disney age is that you're unlikely to be old enough to have built up a ton of vacation time or be retired. Depending on the industry of course.
I can appreciate that - my son is 8 and between his school schedule and my work schedule, our vacation time is limited. 4 and 5 night sailings tend to require as much time off as a Sat - Sat sailing, so I would prefer a longer cruise if given the choice. (All that being said, the Fantasy is our least favorite ship and the East/West itineraries aren't exciting for us, so we really have no skin in this game, but interesting changes nonetheless.)

I wish it would at least stop at Castaway our first TA left from Orlando and made a stop there.

Maybe the transatlantic going back will have different ports? Surveys have had Greenland on them so they could possibly stop there.

Looks like we'll probably do the 7 night, August 13 Northern European cruise out of Copenhagen as our kids don't start school until August 24 (yeah!).

I would have liked to do the 8 night, August 5 cruise that stops for 2 days in St. Petersburg but I have a feeling that cruise is going to be at least 25% more expensive than the August 13 cruise that only stops for 1 day in St. Petersburg (and with Disney's recent YOY increases over already high prices, the August 13 cruise will probably provide more than enough sticker shock).

I would have liked to see Disney add Oslo to it's Northern European iteneraries that sail out of Copenhagen and already include St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Stockholm, and Helsinki. My parents did a cruise that included all of those ports on Princess and they said that Oslo was their second favorite port after St. Petersburg. That being said, a Disney cruise with that itinerary would've tempted me to go way over my budget so it's probably a good thing they didn't offer it.

People are saying that's what they paid for there 9 night cruise going to Greece, 6 year ago. Be even more now

Thank you for posting this!! Just wonder how much inflation/DCL's yearly price increase will affect those prices:headache:

I found a more recent price thread for 2016. I believe that they ended up cancelling the Greek part of the cruise because of unrest in Turkey. I am hoping a 9D on the 9-night is under $10,000

Oh well...Norway is too late for us...both past my placeholder date and getting too close to the start of school...

Will have to look over itineraries more to see if there is anything else we might be interested in...
Same here! So disappointed with the late summer date!! Yet one Northern Europe cruise sails on my birthday! This is exciting!!

I spotted these prices (without seeing the date) on my phone and was ready immediately to book! I thought finally some reasonable prices l(for DCL) lol NOT!
If any of you see me on our April 2019 Mexico cruise, can you greet me with “Hey Big Spender”

If I’m following this correctly- prices will be available to see whenever your booking window open up? Is that right?
