I have been following you for a while - but I was too nervous to post... I am also a proud (and shocked) new member of the moms panel! I feel like I know all of you - and I still cannot believe that I made out such a group of wonderful applicants! Keep dreaming!

Hi all. I haven't had a chance to read through all the posts yet. I just want to quickly stop in to report that I was not invited to join this year. It was hard to take that phone call while sitting on the sidewalk in Main Street during MVMCP, but I wasn't totally surprised since I knew I blew the interview, and I was quickly cheered up by cookies and hot chocolate! Congratulations to those that made it! I hope you blog your journey because I would love to read about it.

I was so bummed to hear your news, Susy. I was really hoping you would be chosen. I wonder if, statistically speaking, there are more applicants from Florida than from other areas, which would mean it's even more competitive if you're a FL applicant?

Hi ladies! So sorry it took me so long to get back on here! I was at a Moms Night at our kids' school and couldn't sneak away to let you all know that I am the newest DCL Mom on the Moms Panel for 2013! I couldn't be happier and can't wait to meet my fellow panelists! Congrats to those joining me, and I really really hope that if you didn't get it this year you will try next year because you all KNOW YOUR STUFF, and you've been such a great group to be with through this whole process!

Lots of love to you all!!!!! I'm really still in shock that I am actually on the panel. Dreams do come true!

So excited for your DCL spot! Glad it went to someone I "know". I'm sure your family is celebrating as well. Can't wait to hear about your trip and what being a DCL specialist is like!

My name is Yael and I am from Miami, Florida. I applied for WDW resorts but I believe that I was chosen to answer questions in Spanish as half of my phone interview was in Spanish. I am a mom of 3 and annual pass holder. I hope to meet you in December!

Thanks! Thrilled for you, though! I'm not sure if it's more competitive for Floridians/Californians or not. Never really thought about it, but I could see them not wanting too many of us at one time.

Many heartfelt congratulations to all the finalists!! I didn't think there would be news until this coming week, so I haven't been checking this thread for several days. Imagine my shock when I saw the FB post tonight that you guys already had your pixie dust!!

I would congratulate all individually, but afraid I would miss someone. So excited to read that you'll all be posting about your experiences - definitely something to look forward to!

I'll be in the World during part of your training trip, so if I see any pink shirts/jackets, I'll be sure to say "hi"!

And lots of hugs to those that got the disappointing phone call. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and eyes forward to 2014!!!!!

I tried to look at the list and the link is not working. Is there a list up of the Disboarders who made it this year?

My family is working through what we hope is the last turmoil for a while. One of our very best friends was just diagnosed with a stage IV terminal brain tumor. She had a stroke and brain hemorrhage during the biopsy surgery. We are headed back to Ohio to be with her.

Life is still pretty emotional for me but I am hoping that I will be able to apply again next year. Thanks again for all your well wishes. It was nice to know I was missed.

So glad you checked in with us. It has been another fun E-ticket ride. I can hardly wait to do it again next year.
