FYI for those interested in Dolphin Swim. I am going to contact someone at "dolphindiscovery" hopefully today. I spoke to a lady yesterday evening who was very helpfull. She suggested I speak with the reservation specialist who is only there during the day about scheduling a dolphin swim at their others parks. She said the other place is about 1 hour away. We need to take the ferry and taxi, I believe she said it was close to "playa del carmen".
Will keep you all posted. I wanted to find out how far away this place is really from port and so on. I guess the good thing is we don't leave this port until late in the evening, so it would be perfect to schedule the dolphin swim even if we have to go a little further!

Spoke to Miguel Diaz at "Dolphindiscovey" (mdiaz@dolphindiscovery.com) contact# 702-933-3261, he fax or e-mail reservation forms you can also go online and do it!

You will need to choose location as (Puerto Aventuras) here is the 411 on the location.
Need to take ferry from Cozumel to (Puerto Aventuras/Playa del Carmen). The ferry ride will be about 45 minutes. Once you arrive take taxi to (Puerto Aventuras/Dolphin Discovery), Miguel says the taxi drivers know where to go! The taxi ride should be about 15 minutes.
He also said they were not sure the exact date Cozumel location would open. It is schedule for Jun 30, the web site for that location even has it.

Hope this helps out anyone that is still interested in the dolphin adventure. I know my kids are very excited about this opportunity!

Minnie7701, thanks for the info on the Dolphin stuff. It looks like we are out. I get motion sickness and the worst I have ever had it was on a ferry tender. I don't plan to put myself on a 45 minute ride to be ill! Guess we will stick with mini golf!

BTW-I had a sign that we would be going to Coz. I went to get my nails done today, and the name of the 1st color I picked up was.....Coz-u-melted in the sun!!!! It's from the summer line of colors from Mexico!!

Princess-Way back when Angie was going to cruise with us-she jumped ship! , she said that she would do them.

I volunteered to do some kind of magnet for the doors. I was going to glue the home depot mickey heads to magnets. Not much else was mentioned. Any ideas? I can do it, I just can not create the idea.

I just headed over to the main board and the very first thread was the one about the magnetic signs!!! Ok, so I can get some ideas. But what to you all think?
Do we want something simple-like an enlarged Mickey icon, maybe laminated to write on?

Do we want a sign with the cruise date?

Ooooh, now that is mean! I suppose I only said you couldn't laugh I didn't mention anything about videotaping..... Besides, I may look super cool dancing!

Should I tell you now or later that I plan on doing the whole 80's night too... I might dig out my leg warmers and make my hair "big"... now that would be something for the video... after all I am a child of the 80's!

As far as signs go, I would love something that has our cruise date on it. I will put it on our fridge after the cruise. Anything would be cool, I just think it would be neet for all of us (those who want one) to have the same thing on the doors.

Seriously, laminated could be cool, we could say hi to our DIS friends with the dry erase markers. Anyone else?

Hey Lorie, any chance you guys are going to book the Med. August 2007 western repo cruise?!!! We'd looovvve it if you were! We are booked in our usual "home away from home!"

Barbara gave the correct address for Shirley. Can't say enough about how nice she is. She even gave me tips last year on things to do after the cruise for an afternoon. She even offered to let us come by her house. She hangs around her on the Disboards from time to time.

She can come up with some great ideas and will try and design something special for you. It was great to walk into our cabin and have the baskets sitting in the room with a card from Mickey welcoming my sons abourd.

Hi everyone! It has been a while since we have checked the boards and WOW! Lots of useful information! We have paid in full as well and can't wait until June. This is our 2nd 7 day cruise on the Magic. My DD is 8, will be 9 in August. She is very shy. I was hoping that she may be able to get to know some of the other DDs before sailing. We are also staying at the Radisson the night before and it would be great if our DD could meet other DDs. I wasn't aware that we could reserve a shuttle spot before arriving at the Radisson. By the way, we are flying out of Pittsburgh, PA, anyone else from this area?

Hi bartjwb - There are a bunch of us that have DDs ages 8 - 10. They have been emailing each other. If your DD would like to get an email just pm me her email. My DD Tessa would love another friend. We are also staying at the Radisson. A few other DISers are too! Maybe all the kids could meet up by the pool.

Shirley is a wonderful lady who owns the perfect gift. I ordered a Princess basket from her for DD on our first cruise. It had snacks and juice bags plus toys for her and caffeine free diet coke for me. She will put whatever you want in your basket. I can't speak highly enough of her. Can we walk to mini golf in Coz? How far is it? Tell me about Mr. Sanchos beach.

From my understanding, you can definitely walk to the mini golf. Maybe our families can plan to stroll together!

Mr. Sanchos is a beach club that has jet skis, kayaks, etc. I have heard positive feedback from others that have opted for Mr. Sanchos as a more economical option rather than paying the cost for a beach excursion. Wendy told me that it is about a 10 minute taxi ride. You can Google Mr. Sanchos and check out the website.
