Wife surprised me this afternoon with an early (extra) day ... We are heading down in the morning!!!!
We'll be there from Friday October 3rd through Friday October 10th. Have never been ( hard to believe) for the Food & Wine Festival. Looking forward to just strolling around EPCOT a few times...
ONE MORE DAY!!!!!
Wife surprised me this evening with an early (extra) day ... We leave in the morning!!!!!
:cool1::banana::cool1::banana::yay::yay::yay:
Broke into the 20's today ... Just 29 more days and we will be at Disney World!!!
Only tough part is leaving the doggies at the boarding house for a week.
Raglan Road for us as well. Atmosphere and the food has always been good. Good vibes in there and it seems everyone is there to just unwind and have a good time.
Broke into the 60's today .... Now only 69 days until we head to Disney!!!!
68 days until we have to take the doggies to the boarding house :worried: The only sad part about going on holiday.
Lunch: Tie between San Angel Inn & Sci Fi Drive Inn. Both for their atmosphere more so than their food. Although San Angel food is really good to me. Both restaurants are awesome for lunch, especially during the hot months. Just love the feel of both places.
Dinner: Victoria & Albert's Chef...
Though we live only 7-8 hours (depending on freeway traffic) from Disney World, at times it suits us to fly to get there "faster". Now we live in Florida and the flights are around $350 - $400 (coach) from Pensacola to Orlando and we're in the same state.
I wont even tell you what business...
San Angel Inn is always our first ADR we have on each trip .. It's our tradition I guess. First time I took my wife to WDW that was the first place we ate for a sit down meal for lunch.
It was very good and we had a blast with our waiter and a couple who were celebrating their 40th wedding...
Couldn't agree more with your post.
I certainly hope they do not completely redo the Norway pavilion into a 'Frozen' themed pavilion. Why bother calling it Norway after that if it is to happen?
The elements to me should be temporary as well. To your point, in five years, Frozen will not be the...
Yup .. As everyone has already posted ... We too carry cash on our trips to have a little on hand each day. Never hurts when buying small snacks, water, etc. It just seems easier for us.
It's Florida ... If you don't like the weather ... Wait 10 minutes, it'll change.
Just as ucfknight stated, the weather in central Florida is nothing to predict. I have been at the parks where it is storming at MK and the sun is out at EPCOT.
You can pretty much assure yourself that it...
We love the experience at the Prime Time Cafe and do things as other posters have said to make sure we get the interaction from our "cousin" (wait staff). We had one last time ask us what colour the soap was in the restroom just to make sure we did indeed wash our hands before our meal.
And...
I would assume those that are not open for breakfast would be open at 11:00 am or so as that is typically when places open for lunch.
Just doing a quick search through some of the paces, it looked as though the majority of restaurants looked to close around 11:00 pm. I'm sure if someone else...
I'm a golfer so I bring my wet gear top as a rain jacket. It folds down nicely to fit in our small draw string backpack. I also had one sent to me for my wife recently as she could never find any wet gear that she liked or would work.
They are short sleeved though that is no concern to us...
My wife and I both put $100 a week from our pay and put into our holiday account. Typically works out to be $400 per month.
We then do an exercise where we each begin with $1 the first Friday of the year and double that every Friday until we leave for our trip.
This year for example we...
Yeah, those are your best bets for sure to sample beers you may or may not like or have ever tried. $11.50 is pricey (but it's Disney) though it's better to try and not like a 5 oz. beer than paying $8.00 for an entire pint and not liking it at all.
For CS meals at MK we typically like to hit up; Pecos Bills, Tortuga Tavern or Columbia Harbor House. Nothing "special" at any of them, though the meals are always good and we seem to always find good seats when we eat there.
Favourites at each:
Pecos Bills: Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich...
Any time!!!
I hope you enjoy trying the different beers. You never know until you try it once. Who knows, you may find you actually like a different type of beer you did not previously know about or think you would like at all.
Cheers!
