    New York Ground Transportation Question

Hello, We are booked on the WBTA 2023 that ends in New York. We spoke with Disney and were advised that they did not have ground transportation to LaGuardia airport. Does anyone know why this is, as we were able to book transportation after our 2019 WBTA. Any recommendations for a car...

Its OFFICIAL! I just pulled the trigger on our vacation!

Congratulations on booking your first family trip. The exchange on the dollar can really eat into a budget. If you know someone that is a senior and has a currency exchange location near them, Monday's are seniors day and they get a decent exchange rate. I utilize this when we are planning...

    Norwegian?

I would not book NCL again. We have done Disney, Royal, Holland America and recently returned from our first NCL cruise. We cancelled the cruise we had booked with NCL for January 2021 (Panama) due to our recent experience with NCL. We sailed out of New York and did 8 day on Bliss. The ship...

    Dining with food allergies

Yes. Go to the location to make dining changes and talk with the cast member. After that, they will have your family member give their food order the day before. Our last cruise was this past December and I was able to place orders for all of my meals the day before. Buffet, check with...

DCL again or give RCI a try

It depends on what you want. We tried RCI and did not like it and have gone back to Disney. I found RCI was more of a 'party" atmosphere and had more inebriated guests than what I have seen on Disney. While the initial cost of the cruise might be cheaper on RCI check the over all cost with...

Do you always do a land-based portion to your cruise? Why/why not? Pros/cons?

Christmas is a great time of year to be at Disney. The atmosphere is amazing. Crowds are nuts, but if you go with the flow and don't try to do everything in one day, you should enjoy your time. The nice thing about Disney is there are so many other things to do besides the parks. If you stay...

    DCL and food allergies

I have a tree nut allergy and the crew on the Magic this past December were great. The service staff brought the menu for the next night each evening and I was able to choose what I wanted and the galley staff ensured that meal was okay for me to eat. The only thing that was a bit challenging...

Flying West Jet or Air Canada

We have flown both airlines and prefer West Jet. The service is better and they don't charge for things like snacks and luggage. We are flying WJ in December. Staying an extra day after the cruise due to flight scheduling. Check for sales, WJ is normally much cheaper than AC.
