Best Time to Go: Jan- March?

We're looking to book a 4 day trip sometime in January, February or March- any suggestions on a specific time/month? In 2014, we visited during the first week of November and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds, and hope to see that again. Thanks for any suggestions!

    DHS = Ghost Town.

We were there in February. I can't remember if we rope dropped the park, but it was very close to it if we didn't. We hit everything we wanted to- GMR, Toy Story, Muppets, Indiana Jones, and took a while looking through Launch Bay and Watto's Grotto. We were done by 1pm. We ended up going back...

    Best Kong Strategy

I'm not sure if this is even the right place for this, or if anyone would even have an answer but it's worth a shot- What's the best strategy for getting on Reign of Kong with a minimal wait? We're staying on property 7/13-7/15. Should we go in for the HP extra hour like normal, but try to work...

Just Back. Issue 1: Profiling at Park Entrance..

My dad got "randomly selected" twice when we were on vacation this February on our six day stay. He said he wasn't bothered by it whatsoever. On a scale of 1-100 of being annoyed by Disney's actions, he said it was a 1, compared to when our Magic Bands wouldn't work on our first day, which was a...

Pirates of the Caribbean...do you get wet now??

We were there last week, and I sat on the end of the 2nd row. There was no standing water whatsoever in the boat. When we went down the drop, the sleeve of my windbreaker got damp, and that was it. No substantial splashing or soaking!!

Suggestion for yummy breakfast snack before 1st ride at the park?

This past trip we kept Belvita crackers in the room for this exact reason. Also, when we woke up for the 5k at 3:55 and were on our way to Epcot by 4:30, they were great since there weren't any other options!

Which retired attraction do you wish you could have ridden?

Horizons, World of Motion, the original Figment with Dream Finder, the top of the ImageWorks building, any part of the Wonders of Life pavilion, Listen to the Land, even Kitchen Kabaret. So many "original" things were way before my time.

Ladies - talk to me about wearing sundresses in the parks in the heat

I vote for a sundress and compression shorts underneath- I've worn dresses and Nike Pro compression shorts multiple times mid-July in both Universal, Disney, and SeaWorld. I think it's way more comfortable than a shirt and a pair of shorts!

June vs. July vs. August: weather and crowds

We did a trip from June 27th to July 4th in 2014, and split it between Disney and Universal. The weather was normal Florida summer weather- super hot, humid, and thunderstorms every afternoon. But what else is there to expect? On the other hand, we didn't think the crowds were that bad. We're...

    GoPro strategy - WDW

For water parks, we've used the head strap with awesome results! You could try that for POV type videos.

Did you ever take a WDW vacation that was too long?

Our typical vacation is 10 days and it's an absolutely perfect amount of time. You can see everything you want, and do them over a few times, without getting tired of it.

Do people actually enjoy these attractions?

I absolutely love Carousel of Progress and Living with the Land. They are non debatable must-do's! They're also towards the top of the list of my favorite attractions. We try to do Ellen's whenever there's time, since we do really enjoy it, but it is pretty long.

    Very Talkative Universal Employee

Today while waiting in line for the Starbucks near Diagon Alley, we started talking to a very nice employee- we think he worked in an office somewhere in the park. He told us a bunch of information- and I thought I'd share it with everyone! He said the new King Kong ride is going to be very...

    MIB Immigration Tour

Has anyone here asked a cast member to give them an immigration floor tour at Men In Black? I've read and watched videos from different sources of people walking around, and being given a tour of the "immigration area" in the queue of MIB. This meaning the floor with the aliens that you walk...
