Remy for an unsophisticated palate ?

I am not an adventurous eater at all and I have loved my visits to Remy! I would normally never consider trying some of the foods they served me, but I loved most of it. The chefs have a gift and they want you happy. Go with your family, talk to your server, and have an open mind. Worst case...

    Room Catagory Question

We love the extra space in those rooms, especially the storage space. I look for staterooms using 5 in my party to see which ones have the Murphy bed, then adjust the number of passengers.

    Palo, Remy, etc...

I am a picky eater as well and I love Remy! It is definitely an "experience" meal, and because of that, I went in with an open mind to try new things. There were some things I didn't care for, but I loved most of it and always walk out stuffed. I disagree that Remy is just for foodies.

Tag along to a cocktail tasting?

It could have something to do with the operating hours as well. I have been to Mixology while Skyline was technically closed and only ticket holders were allowed in. I also sat in Meridian and just watched a Cognac tasting, but it was in the evening and open to other guests.

Pictures of the balance slip given on the last night

Each form of payment will get its own statement. I typically share a stateroom with my mom and we have our own credit cards attached to our KTTW cards. We get separate statements every time. All charges and credits show up on the statements.

    Princess Gathering

Thank you for your responses everyone. We aren't sure how many adults are going to want to join the kids in our group, but we also don't want to waste tickets and have other groups miss out. I'll get tickets for everyone now and we will re-evaluate as it gets closer.

    Princess Gathering

Do I need a ticket for adults accompanying the child for the princess gathering on the Dream? Or are the reservations just for the guests who are visiting with the princesses?

Reviews of #9674 on Disney Dream please

We have stayed in that room on the Dream and loved it. I prefer aft rooms and the extended verandah was awesome. I'm not sure about watching the fireworks from there though.

Anyone taken a cruise only to CC?

We did this itinerary on the Dream 2 years ago. We were able to have brunch in Palo. www.disneycruiselineblog.com has the navigator posted if you want to check that out. It is the November 7, 2014 sailing, Itinerary H. Love your user name!

Go Pro strap for Disney slides

We tried to use one 2 weeks ago on the Dream and they told us it had to be secured to our body so that both of our hands were free to hold on to the raft.

    Current *GT/MTO/FLR Discounts!

What are your thoughts on a FLR being released for the Dream 2/20/15 sailing? Debating on grabbing the VGT because I haven't seen a FLR on a 3 night in quite a while.

    Family of the week...

We were chosen as Family of the Day for our first cruise in Sept. We had the same experience as above but we boarded before concierge. We also jumped to the front of the line for kids club registration. We arrived at the port early but did not wear anything special or even Disney related.

    Pajama Party on Dream?

There was one on our 3-night, but my daughter said there weren't many kids actually in pajamas.

    Opinions, please!

Hi Neighbor! :wave2: I prefer to drive straight to the port myself. I feel I have more control over when I get there and its so convenient to have the car waiting for me when they drag me off the ship!

Living the Suite Life on the Dream ~ Sept. 1-5, 2013

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just read your trip report and loved it. Thanks for posting! Can I ask how you were able estimate the cost for the upgrade ahead of time?

    Cruise with only adults

I took a trip with just my mom last month. We had a blast! Spent time lounging on the very peaceful adults only deck, getting treatments in the spa, relaxing on Serenity Bay, and of course, quenching our thirst in the bars. :rolleyes1 Can't wait to do it again!
