Linking Reservations not made through Disney to Disney Account

My husband and I just reserved 4 nights at Wilderness Lodge in October through Hotels.com. (it's a belated kid free trip for my 40th birthday and our 15th anniversary). ANYWAY, can I link that resort reservation to my mydisneyexperience? Nevermind, doing a little internet sleuthing and it...

Letting kids wait while parents ride something?

My oldest two are the same ages as yours, they have a cell phone and love having some alone time together at Disney parks. We keep in contact and have a set meeting time. They take good care of each other. Plus my oldest is an grouchy old man trapped in a tweens body so I know he's not going to...

    Illuminations Fireworks Cruise

Its one of the pontoon boat. We did the cruise for my husband's 40th, there were 7 of us and plenty of room for more people. You might want to double check with Disney, but I'm pretty sure 10 people would fit.

That's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks!

    AP timing

We are going to be at FW from Dec. 28 until January something and are planning on getting Annual Passes for the trip, but not activating them until we are there so we can have them for the full year. So, if they aren't activated, but still linked to my MBs can I still book FP+ in advance or do I...

WOW, FP+ is worse than I even imagined

I couldn't understand WHAT the OP was trying to do.

    Thoughts on Planned Trip

I will check in to the law (good reminder). My 6th grader today told me all of their "books" are online now. Times they are a changin'. So I'm thinking he could keep with the work they are doing much easier these days.

    Thoughts on Planned Trip

So we have two weeks booked at FW for Thanksgiving and also at Christmas. We hadn't really made firm plans yet but wanted to make sure we were covered. Our original plan was to just do Thanksgiving and then call it a season for camping (we live in PA). We just purchased a new Class A...

Gay Days 2015 - Help me a Dad Out

He was going to Disney, not Hedonisim. What does a person really think is going to happen at Gay Days... at Disney... Seriously? If someone told the OP that it was Disney Caligula and he believed it, I have a bridge I'd like to sell him. Frankly, I'm more offended with all the red shirts. Not...

Nothing like a non Disney trip to put MDE in perspective

I didn't read all of the replies, so I'm sorry if I am repeating anything. My older two boys LOVE roller coasters, so we went to Cedar Point last summer and this summer. We have a class-A motorhome and love camping right beside the park, however... it's still no FW. :) My 7-year-old daughter...

    4 Parks in 1 Day

This past December for my husband's 40th birthday we did all 4 parks in 4 hours (40-4-4, get it). We were staying at FW and since it was the holidays (his birthday is Dec. 30) we were able to get into MK at like 6 am opening. We did one ride at each park and a photo. We did SM at MK, then...

There is no way to have a guaranteed camp site for a disabled person.....

Excellent points. And what exactly is a "handicapped" camping site? It's your camper that has to be "accessible" (hence handicapped "accessible" hotel rooms). The campsite is merely a parking spot. As far as mobility, if I'm being honest, if you plan to get around Disney you can probably just...

There is no way to have a guaranteed camp site for a disabled person.....

There are maps online of the campground, just google Fort Wilderness maps. No spots are guaranteed at the Fort, but you can request sites and I've heard most people get their requests (we always ask for our top three). Fax your site request about 3-5 days before you arrive. If you...

Want to stay 12/21-1/2 any suggestions

We were at the Fort for two weeks at Christmas this past year and it took a lot of checking first thing in the morning to piece it together. I will tell you that closer to the time people cancel, since you can cancel up to 5 days in advance. Which is why my two weeks at Christmas and three weeks...

Going to Disney without any reservations or fast passes

That's a ridiculous statement. I don't overly plan our vacations, I do the FP+ but just because it's easy, but I've been known to switch them around during the vacation as we change plans. I have made one or two dining reservations, but I'm not doing that for our next trip. I'd much rather...

Someone defend Tough to be a Bug to me

Well, the stink bug does pretty much fart on you. :lmao: But as someone who lives in an area of the country that has been over run by stinkbugs, I can totally relate. I was accidentally drank water that a stink bug fell into... not good, not good at all.

    Reserving Campsites at Christmas

I've had our christmas sites booked since last October/November. Last christmas I started booking our sites in March (for two weeks) and it took until November to put together the whole two weeks. Just keep trying, closer to the date sites will open up. I checked every morning for a while...
