Trails end at Fort Wilderness! It was the best breakfast we had during our trip and the kids really enjoyed walking around. My 5yr old took a pony ride after breakfast.
We ate at Crystal Palace and Trail's End for breakfast and Tusker House for lunch. I LOVED Trail's End (no characters). That was the best breakfast we had during our entire stay.
We had dinner there in May. I was not expecting the food to be very good after reading a lot of bad reviews but figured we'd just go for the characters. I actually thought the food was very good! I don't think the kids food looked very good though but my kids were too excited looking for...
If you want to have a buffet breakfast but are not into characters then I would suggest Trail's end at FW. That was the best breakfast we had. You are really paying for the characters at CP and the meal alone certainly isn't with that price.
We were there during that rainy week in May too. I could not find any ponchos in the stores at home so I had to buy them in the park. I was surprised at the cost but quality of them was great. I know if I bought the cheap dollar store ones we would have gone through many of them during our trip...
We were at DC a few weeks ago. It was fantastic! My dd 5 1/5 years old did the dolphin swim. Yes I broke the rules. She wore a life jacket and when she rode the dolphin back one of the dolphin trainers waited with her until I came over. She was not tall enough to stand in some areas by herself...

We just returned last week. I haven't been in 20 years and it was my kids first time there. It was certainly magical for them but I'm not sure that I would consider it magical. Our hotel was nice (WL) and I did find the parks to be very clean but for the money I would say that is what it...
We were there 5/1-5/7 and when it wasn't pouring we had flies everywhere! They were all around the pool at WL.....all over the buffet at CP and really bad at AK.
The kids food at 1900 Park was the standard selections so nothing to great there but the kids don't seem to mind. I thought the chicken curry was great and went up for seconds. The carving station and mashed potatoes was really good as well.
I almost forgot to mention the best meal we had...
Hello,
I have found this forum very helpful so I thought I would post a quick trip report now that we have returned home. I have not been to Disney in 20 years. My DH and I traveled with our two daughters (9 &5).
Hotel:
Wilderness Lodge. We stayed in a woods view bunk bed room. The...
We did the wishes fireworks cruise on Thursday ...in the rain. This was the 2nd day of rain. We were all so sick of it by then the last thing we wanted to do was out on a poncho. I agree its great bit not to be stuck in the crowds but I didn't even consider how the weather might be when I booked it.
We just arrived today. Much cooler than I expected and it rained a good part of the day, however, the crowds were really low. 5 min for pirates..10 for jungle cruise... 10 for space mt. The longest wait we had was for tinkerbelle but I have to say it was worth it. We just happened upon the...
We are staying at the WL and have planned one down day to hang out at the pool and enjoy our resort. This is most likely the only day that we will have a big breakfast. Which is better - wispering canyon or trail's end? If they are both similar I would rather just stay at our resort but if...
We are going May 1-7. We booked our airfare on Jan 3rd and the four of us were not able to sit together. The flight was almost completely sold out. I was really surprised and wondered if there was a convention going on or something.
I'm wondering about this as well for my 5 year old. We haven't owned a stroller for at least two years but I am worried about our day in Epcot. If we start to walk around the park and realize that we need one - do we need to go all the way back to the entrance to get one or are there places to...
Never mind - I just realized it was pretty silly to miss out on a cabana over a silly $50, considering what the whole day at DC costs us! I booked it. :cool1:
