Hi everyone,
My name is Ed and my DW Carol and I will be joining you all on this cruise! We just signed up for it, so I know that we're a little late but we'd love to join the Fish Exchange if possible? We are staying in room 6574. Could you let me know if we can join? We have gifts we can...
Disney Wonder:
Palo server: Mariana (from Argentina)
DR servers: Eddie (From Thailand) and Raka (From India)
Entertainment staff: Sophie
We are sailing on the Magic in March and hoping they might have transferred! :)
Hi there- we are looking to get the best rate possible on our cruise, and have considered quotes through Dreams Unlimited, Small World Vacations and Costco. What experience do you have with any of these agencies? All quotes are relatively the exact same with the same offerings, so I'm wondering...
Lucky!!! They had a Groupon for four nights a few months ago and by the time I went to snatch it up it was gone (within just a few hours!). I was bummed. I would absolutely stay there for three weeks if I could. :)
Whew. I can't believe how quickly the time has slipped by!! It was exactly ONE MONTH ago today that we boarded the Wonder! That was lightning-speed fast.
I've been elbow deep in state testing and report card grading, so my free time for the computer has been limited. However, I've carved the...
Unfortunately I don't remember any group called "The Dreamers..." but then again, we didn't spend much time in the after-hours clubs. We stuck mainly to the deck 7 aft pool and our balcony while on board! ;)
(life seems to be getting in the way of these trip reports! Sorry for the delay since the last one-- but they are about to get good! We absolutely loved the cruise ports so I'll have a lot of great information to share about them!)
So our fourth day on the cruise was our first day ashore...
That's so funny! Yes we mainly did the adults stuff-- Cove Cafe, eating lunch on our verandah, sleeping in, 8:15 dinner, etc. If and when we do Disney cruises again, I will definitely be doing brunch multiple times on board instead of just one! I thought brunch was so much better than dinner--...
Wasn't she fabulous? She made us feel like we were her first and only customers of the whole cruise! We had her for Palo dinner as well and that was really fun. We learned a lot about her and her life in Argentina as well. Did you see Toni from Croatia during your trip? He was actually featured...
That's really bizzarre! I saw both of your comments and responded back but they disappeared as well. Maybe when the DIS website was shut down this week something happened...
Anyway, I wrote that I actually am a professional photographer on the side so I brought my camera that I shoot weddings...
Ohhhhh I am still drooling over our Palo brunch. I don't want to jump ahead of the story but I'm pretty sure that was the most amazing meal I've ever had in my life. (and I'm not speaking in hyperbole... for once ;))
So Tuesday morning was simply fabulous. We woke up around 8am with sunlight...
Nice to meet you, and thank you! I got it last year at White House, Black Market. I never had a "little black dress," and I told my husband it would be a worthwhile investment. Being able to stay in it year-to-year has been my motivation to work out! ;)
So after our fabulous tequila tasting (sadly) ended, we headed back to our room to get ready for The Golden Mickeys evening performance. It was fabulous! I'll admit. I teared up a bit. I LOVED feeling like a kid again and seeing all of my favorite Disney characters and movies up on stage. It...
Sorry for the delay in posting. Hosted the entire family for Easter dinner for the first time and that took some planning this week!
So where did I leave off...
Day 3 of vacation, day 2 of the ship:
Oh yes. The next morning. SO much better than the night before! Once the ship cleared Los...
You do not have to wear a suit, tux or tie to Palo/Remy. You do have to wear a sport coat, and women have to wear a dress or pantsuit. My husband did not wear a tie any night-- including formal. He wore dark slacks, a collared shirt, belt and sport jacket and looked great. Just sayin.
I...
