My mini review of CS.... This was our first time staying at CS. We were there from 1/22-1/31. Food was meh. I really don't expect much from counter service. To me, it is just supposed to hold me over until dinner. We ate breakfast and lunch once at Pepper Market. Everything was edible but...

We ate there twice during our January 2014 trip. Arrival night we always eat at our resort, and because we liked it so much, we ate there again later in the trip. Service was great and accommodating. And the food was good!

Where is the best place to buy baby type merchandise? A friend is having a shower shortly after I return. I thought it would be cool to spruce up the gifts with some Disney baby swag! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I think you should be able to ride things. When in January are you going? We go in January but towards the end of the month, we don't use FP and are able to ride things with minimal wait time. But I would think maybe in the beginning of the month would be more crowded? Maybe?

I agree with Lylone, bring more than one pair of shoes and switch them up. I found this is most helpful for me and my boyfriend. We never seem to suffer from tired, achy legs, blisters, etc.

Pretty much everything is a splurge on vacation (that's how we do!) I'm talking to you, $64 steak, Le Cellier, and $11 Rum and Cokes at my hotel bar, and you too, $36 Boma Buffet Dinner.

Does AOA have dedicated buses? Or does that resort share buses with another resort? Sorry to hijack.....

Sounds like us! We like touring the parks very leisurely. By staying that many days we can visit the parks multiple times. Also, we do a minimum of 2-3 resort days where we just chill!

Congrats to everyone working to feel better! Using Disney as motivation makes everything easier! Good luck to everyone and keep it up!

We get the dining plan when we go. But just the regular one. We tend to skip breakfast, have a bite for lunch then have a nice sit-down dinner. So it fits our eating habits. Sometimes we order appetizers with dinner and alcoholic drinks (sometimes throughout the day and/or with dinner)...

AKL. Not only is there a security check in (like at all resorts) but pretty much the entire place is fenced in (for the animals). I had an issue where I was called out to the parking lot at 1:30 am by the local Sheriff's Dept. Felt completely safe!
