    AKL 2-bedroom Occupancy

Thanks for all the replies!!! After everyone's input and going over finances and what not, we have decided to just book the 2BR at Kidani. It would be about another 1k to get another studio, and we just don't think we will be in the room enough to validate spending that much more on an extra...

    AKL 2-bedroom Occupancy

I would like to do the 2BR and a studio, but we just don't have the points. We will have our own vehicles too, so bus transportation isn't an issue.

    AKL 2-bedroom Occupancy

Again thanks for all the responses. It is me, my wife, brother and his wife, and my parents. If we were to do a 2BR at Kidani I had it set up in my mind that my wife and I would get the master since it is our points we are using. Brother and his wife in the living room with their toddler...

    AKL 2-bedroom Occupancy

My family is planning a week long stay for 6 adults, 3 kids (5-10), and 1 toddler for May of 2014. We are looking at AKL Kidani 2BR, AKL Jambo 2BR, or a Treehouse villa. We are just wondering if the 2BR will be too cramped for basically 9 people and if we would just be better off getting a...

Bay Lake Tower "must see or do" suggestions

Getting a drink at TOWL and watching the fireworks is probably the best feeling/time I have ever had at WDW. There is nothing else like it. So I would suggest that. Also just walking to the Magic Kingdom with it being so close is AMAZING!!

Only 1 night in DVC. Where would you stay?

It would be between BLT lake view and AKL savannah view (jambo house). Would probably go with AKL though. It just seems to me when you walk in that place you get transported to somewhere unlike any where else. The smells, the design, and the views of the savannah are just amazing. There is...

Question for those of you who watch the resales all the time

We were looking for a June use year add on at SSR for 100 points or less, and it took about 4 months for something to come up. We ended up getting 100 points, we really would have rather got a little less maybe around 75. Regardless we got it, but it did take a while. I would say to just be...

Anyone made it through (or not made it through) ROFR recently? - Section IV

Passed ROFR last Tuesday. Submitted 5/22. $59/point 100 points at SSR. :yay: It was an add on for us. Now we will be able to afford a one-bedroom anytime we go rather than staying in a studio!!!!!

adding on with a different use year

Thanks for the replies everyone. I guess we will wait for a June use year in the 50-75 point range to pop up. Hopefully we will not be waiting too long.

adding on with a different use year

How big of a headache is it to have add on points with a different use year? We already have 160 points at SS with a June use year and we have found 50 points at SS with an August use year. So is a different use year add on hard to manage? Thanks for the responses.

    A timeshare Broker

Hello all, We are looking to add on 50 points with a June use year and atimeshare.com has one available that we are about to make an offer on. We originally bought 160 points from TTS last year and they were fantastic. I was just curious if anyone has worked with this place or if anyone...

    May.....

We are new to the DVC world, just closed on our resale about last week. We bought at SSR, and we plan on going in May of next year with our 2.5 year old daughter. I am going to go ahead and book SSR at 11 months out since it is available, but I was curious how busy of a month May is for DVC...

    Closing docs, now what?

Well we closed today with Magic Vacation Title and The Timeshare Store. Both were great through the whole process. Told us in an email to call on May 30th and our points should be ready to go at that point. They informed us that Disney was backed up this month so it will take longer than the...

    Opinion on AKV

Yeah, I agree with Bill. It is hit or miss. Really depends on the room. We have stayed at the AKL twice, and the first time saw probably 6 different animals right outside our door. The second time we just saw a couple of buffaloes as well.

Anyone made it through (or not made it through) ROFR recently? - Section IV

Our closing documents came via email today. We passed ROFR 4/25. So ours went through rather quickly! I will be mailing them off tomorrow!!! The sooner we get them mailed in, the sooner we become DVC members!!!!!

    Studio Location at SSR?

We just recently received our ROFR pass notice yesterday and our now getting ready to book as soon as the closing documents get passed through. We are planning on going to SSR next year and want to stay in a studio. We are very excited, but were wondering what location we should ask for on...

Thank you to the Timeshare Store!

Agreed! These guys were a breeze to work with. They informed us on every milestone along the way, and did not hesitate to answer my email questions. Great company that does it right!
