Agree with everyone else--AKL! Less money plus we think it is wonderful for a pool/resort day there. Enjoy!

For first timers Poly wins hands down. I remember my first stay--the view of the castle at MK from the Poly said you're in Disney! Pool is great, you are on monorail, boat to MK, Electric water parade at night--I could go on and on but this would be my choice! Especially with younger children...

I tried the code this morning and it was still active..I would just give it a try! GL!! ETA--not sure it was supposed to end yesterday! you can try when you are ready to pay in full OR maybe google for another code..

I have cancelled and modified ressies with Travelocity and Expedia among other online sites and have not had issues. Only time I have had problems was when I booked a room in Miami for a wedding using AAA several years ago--the hotel lost my ressie, was full (and of course all hotels in Miami...

Only hotel. I already have tickets through a work discount, otherwise I would have gotten tickets too.

I booked online and immediately after received a confirmation email with the disney reservation number. I used the number to link to my disney account and my ressie is there! :banana:

My mom and I stayed at a CBR Pirate room for 6 nights/7 days with my then 4.5 and 1 yo boys. First couple of days the walk was fine--the resort is beautiful and the pirate rooms are great--but after that it became a hassle. We ended up driving the car back and forth to OPR for food and pool...

Hi Looking at planning my trip for next year and tempted to try AKL CL. Never stayed CL before and wondering how CL at AKL is. I have 2 young picky eaters, but DH and I love Boma! Any recent reviews of AKL CL would be much appreciated. TIA

I am thinking of adding some days to our WDW visit in Aug and the kids LOVE the picts of the POFQ pool. I am only seeing POR rooms available during the time I wanted...is it a big deal to walk to POFQ for the pool? ~TIA~

No answers here but feel your concern. I asked CM when I booked the Poly for this August if there was Reno/construction. He said he would put a note to have our room away from the ongoing refurb. I too am thinking of moving to another MK resort just in case...

We are booked at POFQ for Dec break--I got a PIN code good till Dec 24. Booked POFQ due to $$$ savings vs WL rack rates for Dec 25-on... Back from our June 2011 trip and 1st stay at WL--phenomenal time!! I am now unsure about POFQ ressie--we have not stayed there before, but ~$500 savings...

I am a SW fan, but DH is not and my 2 DSs ( 4 and 1 yo) haven't seen SW yet. I was planning SWW (for myself :)) but realize the main draw for DS 4yo is TSM....so, question is should we swap AK with DHS, in essence skip SWW? I will be a little bummed, but with the heat and crowds I am thinking...

We would like to do both, but have only 1 more dinner open. I have done Boma dinner (DH has not) and LOVED it, but believe the kids might like WCC better? Do they do the antics at breakfast as well as dinner at WCC? TIA
