We booked a room at Comfort Suites. They are owned by the same people as Atlantis so you are permitted full use of the Atlantis facilities. The rate was $137 and this allowed 4 people to use everything Atlantis has to offer. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply Raisan. I was thinking of spending the day at Love Beach and snorkeling and thought Compass Point would be a place for hubby to have his liquid libations. Did you snorkel there? Do you think it would be too far? DD and I love to snorkel, but aren't fond of excursions...

We did the dolphins on our own also. The ferry was $4 round trip and dropped you right where the Blue Lagoon ferry picked us up. Saved a bundle and were at the lagoon with a lot fewer people.

So maybe 6 or 7 dollars each to Love Beach. Thank you both. We just returned from the Wonder and did the slides and all at Atlantis. In the spring we are going on RC and thought snorkelling at Love Beach and the Compass Point hotel sounded like a tranquil change.

I always try to book by the elevators, neverhad a problem. First few days we take the stairs, but by day 3 you will welcome the oportunity to roll off the elevator and fall into bed.

We've done both on our own. Chakanaab is $10 for adults and children 8 and under are free. As for 7 mile beach, ask to be let out at the Holiday Inn and you can buy drinks there and use the facilities. Have a ball and save on excursions!

Your such a kind person to share your time and experitise. One last Dzul Ha question. Is the underground scenery better than Chakanaab? Sounds like the ramp entrance would be easier for the little one rather than the steps at Chakanaab, although she quickly got the hang of those.
