    First Trip, many questions

My DS and I spent sometime in Europe in June 2008. While we were in Paris we did take the train to DLP. Let me tell you that as the country bumpkins that we are it couldn't have been any easier. We rode the "subway" from our hotel in Paris right up to the gates of DLP.

one of the things we did when our kids were that age is the Family Magic Tour. Was about $25 per person. everyone had a great time. on another note, don't try to do it all. pick what's important and do those things. we have been 12 times and each time is different according to how old DSs...

We were at PI comedy warehouse :rotfl2: on Saturday, 1/28 for the first and third shows. After returning home I saw a commercial for Florida OJ where the man working in the grocery store stands in front of the refrigerator case anxiously squirming because there isn't any OJ on the shelf and a...

    Gay week with tweens

With my friends family pda's with hetero couples makes them uncomfortable. It is who they are. I didn't learn about all of their hang ups until it was too late. :confused3 Working on teaching them to appreciate people for their individualism. Thanks!

    Gay week with tweens

My friend is arriving May 22, first visit for entire their family. Him, her, & 3 kids ages 9, 11, & 13. I have never visited WDW in spring/summer and am unable to tell her when this week is. They are very conservative and I'm afraid they won't enjoy their visit as much if it is during their...

Is it smart to stay onsite at Disney if you want to go to Universal, etc?

We are going in late October and spending 6 nights at POR then 2 nights at Hard Rock Hotel. This will be our 2nd trip switching hotels during the trip. It is not a big deal to change hotels and Lord is it worth it to have FOTL!!!

Where in park to find shirt w/Cindy on it?

I am looking for a "Pooh sized" shirt with Cinderella on it. I want to get it for my niece's 21st b-day in June. I've been looking for a month now & haven't been able to find anything yet! Is there a store in the park that has one? Anywhere else I might try?

    Connecting rooms @ AS?

Are there connecting rooms available at all of the AS resorts for anyone, or do you have to have a special need to get them? DH & I decided to put 2 DS in a connecting room rather than all 4 of us in 1 room at a moderate or deluxe. Anyone done this? How does it work out? I'm thinking double...

What does WDW do for terminally ill adults?

I have a 28 yo B-I-L that has been diagnosed terminal with testicular cancer (4 - 6 weeks left). Our families have gotten together to send them, (him, DW & 4 yo DS) on a whirl wind trip to WDW. I am wondering if WDW does anything special for adult guests in this situation. They will be...

    My onsite HRH experience...WOW!

I have to agree with you stlrod and tjosal. We loved HRH and the express priviledge! It was the first time we'd paid more than $89 a night & that was for a 2 bed/2 bath residence inn. I now feel it is perfectly o.k. to pay $150 a night. DH & I want to send 2 DSs to spacecamp & spend the...

family magic behind the scenes tour

You need a ressie. I think you call 407-WDW-PLAY. It cost us about $75 for 2A and 2C. Well worth it! I would give up whatever I had to ie. character meals, to do it again.
