    Anyone do Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

We did it once and won't do it again - it's worth doing once in our opinion. Food was okay, wine was mediocre, but the unlimited Mickey ice cream bars was AWESOME!!!! The entertainment was good too, my kids weren't really into it - we like Hoop-de-do better (food is very similar) Enjoy!

    PB&J Milkshake question??

Can anyone tell me if I could walk into 50's just to order a milkshake - they have a "bar" area right? Can I order one there? and would it count as a snack credit or would I have to pay out of pocket? Thanks in advance for the help.

Scared of rollercoasters - what rides should I avoid?

I guess it depends on which part of a roller coaster scares you - Barnstormer is the most kiddie one of the coaster, next would be Big Thunder IMO....my youngest DS is NOT a coaster fan - he will ride Big Thunder over and over but won't step foot on Splash because he doesn't like the drop. He...

First Timer - Looking for ideas for what we MUST see

You have gotten some great advice/ideas for which main attractions (and some "minor") to see....how about some "stop and smell the roses" moments? We like doing some the of the "smaller" things, like trying to pull the sword in the stone and getting our pictures in the stocks (both in...

Disney is first and foremost about kids...

Part I bolded - brought tears to my eyes, what a lovely memory for you and your mom! And I bet not only did she enjoy it as much as any kid, but probably more than some (as she had years of waiting/anticipating and understading what Disney is all about and this visit would have meant more to...

Honestly, How devastated would you be

Well....seeing as how Club Cool in Epcot is a big MUST do for us every trip, I won't want Coke to be replaced (though would LOVE Pepsi products to come in - would love to have a Mountain Dew once in awhile.....think Dr. Pepper is Pepsi too, love those)....maybe Epcot could be coke and the...

    Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau

We did it once and it was okay - best part by far is the fire dancer at the end, he's worth seeing - wish that was the whole show, more fire dancers.....the presentation of the dessert was neat too. We've done hoop-de-do(2x) and Mickey's Backyard bbq, out of those 3, hoop-de is our favourite...

Best age to start Disney vacations?

Everybody is different - for us, when our boys were 8 and 6 was the first time/best time to start taking them to Disney....we wanted them old enough to remember it and have enough stamina to do the parks walking all day with no strollers....but ultimately, the choice is yours :)

The STRANGEST thing you have ever seen in the parks.....

What are the best, non-character restaurants???

We like 50's Prime Time, 'Ohana, and Beirgarten for non-character meals - love the atmosphere, food, and interaction/entertainment. Hope this helps :thumbsup2 oops I forgot - we LOVE Cape May for supper (well 3 out the 4 of us do - youngest son isn't a seafood lover, but he finds other...

    Easywdw vs. Touringplans.com

another vote for both - easywdw for crowd calendar/picking which days at which parks and touring plans for, well, the touring plans during the days easywdw said were the best to visit....easywdw and touring plans tend to contradict which days are best to visit, but with having used both sites in...
