Feedback for IOA Actors – What character interactions have impressed you?

My favorite is storm, and my buddies is Captain America. I liked storm just because something about a chick ridin' a 4 wheeler is pretty cool. She was also really good with the kids. Captain America was a riot. I dont know who found him, but his muscles are real, and he seems like the kind...

Upgrading a 2 day pass to 3 day

On your last valid day, go to customer service, which is inside the buildings 'near' the enterance. Ask someone to point you to it. They will upgrade it then.

How to ride a ride: BTTF

I thought it was appropriate over there. It was in response to another trip report I saw, in which someone complained about the bumpiness of rides. That post was on many topics, so I posted separately for all to read. Technically, it is a trip report: just a report on my experiences for 1...

FOTL on day of check out from HRH

correct. You may use the card for FOTL from the moment you receive it until the very end of the day when you check out. We checked out at 10 am, and then spent the day - til 7pm, in the parks. The checkout date is printed on the card and is considered a valid day. The nice perk is that if...

    Fitness Facility at HRH

You know, we never even saw the portofino. I know it was a little way down the 'river' but once we saw the fitness room closed, we just went on to something else. I have heard other people were allowed to use the other pool in this case, but I would think the fitness center was up and running...

How to ride a ride: BTTF

Back to the Future. I read in a post people complaining of head/neck aches after riding this. I rode it last year with my mother, and we both felt sick and had very very sore necks. This year, I figured it out. Basically, it's just like riding a horse (for those who know). You MUST NOT hold...

    Finnegan's for dinner/PS staying at HRH/park hours?

We ate a mythos, where HRH had failed to make our reservations. The food was great, but anticipating problems with HRH, we made the reservations our selves. When we arrived (EXACTLY ON TIME - a real feat for me) they did not have a table ready. I asked, as an HRH member if we would get...

    HRH parking

I believe it is separate. They have a couple of lots there, and it would be one hell of a walk from the garage. (about 10 to 15 minutes). I would think you'd just cough up the bucks for the valet, just to be able to get out and walk away...

Where to eat with 12 yr old AND are restaurants still open after the rides close?

City walk stuff is open late, after parks close. Restaurants inside may actually close before the parks do.

Where to eat with 12 yr old AND are restaurants still open after the rides close?

There is a lake in the middle of everything. Assuming you are comming in from parking/shuttle: you walk in in the middle of citywalk, at 9 o'clock on a dial. Nascar is to the right, at 7. USF is at 5. IOA is at 1. Hard Rock Cafe is across the water at 3 oclock, between IOA and USF. The...

    IOA , USF, or SW?

unused days do not expire. IOS is thrill rides - coasters, water flumes, etc. The Suess area "whoville" is good for kids, and i hear the cat in hat and one fish rides are good even for adults. Also has meet and great and dance show with well know characters - spidey, popey, etc. USF is...

    Fitness Facility at HRH

I didnt see bikes, but I only glanced at the cardio. I seem to think they did, it seems right, and bikes are standard fare. I broke my leg once, in 4 places (skiing), and had to do that kind of stuff. I would bet your therapy people could recommend some light weight training as well, or...

Room Selection at HRH - Want Good Location

I had 5126 and could see Fear Fall, and the coassters, as well as USF enterance. You probably will be at an even better angle if 6120 is closer to the middle. The higer the better. No balconies, no 1st floor rooms.

    Fitness Facility at HRH

Well, if you've seen my previous posts, you know i like to complain about my trip to HRH. During the week of Feb 12th to 15th they were in the process of installing the equipment. As such, we were unable to use it. (Moan, groan, etc.) One of the many disappointments for us! Well, I excused...

Back from President's Week at HRH

dreamer, you are rubbing it in! As I mentioned in another post, I got bumped down, and they refused to credit, stating only had I paid list price for pool would they give a credit. more correctly, they had my room rate listed incorrectly, and stated it was less than garden views list rate. The...

HARD ROCK HOTEL - **Garden View Rooms**!!

We never got to parks until noon anyway, so I dont know. I felt considering the quality and where we were, it was an ok price. I also ate a waffle house in Fla, after we left, and it was excellent, and cheap, but for a 4 star hotel with a 'classy joint' on site, $12 seemed ok. *plus drink...

First time to USF / IoA....looking for suggestions, tips, etc

as I've said before, stay at the hotel for Front of the line all day. That perk is like gold. Get a town car to take your stuff from one hotel to the other. Stay only one night if needed (gets you a 2 day FOTL for checkin day and checkout day), pack in the am, and have luggage held on the day...
