We've done Eastern and Western and for us, we really like Eastern a bit better. I do like having the extra day at Sea. I think it makes it a little more relaxing. If we were doing 7 nights again, I think we both vote for Eastern. :) Have fun!

So, If I have a military husband, who has a wife and 3 kids that need tickets, he can buy at the 169 plus tax price. But, he can only purchase 6 total, so for his family, he can purchase 5, 4 day tickets. He cannot buy 2 per person to extend his time in the parks... Correct?

Thanks for the info. By upgrade I meant add more days. I know if I buy a 4 day ticket and find I need an extra day, I can go to the ticket window and add a day or two. I didn't know if this was possible for them.

I called for a client today. I found out you can get a 4 day military ticket. The husband is an active duty service member. If they want to do a week's stay, can they upgrade to a 6 or 7 day ticket? How does this work?

I had a client that went straight to the parks and the couldn't use their magic band. They had to go to the resort and then back to the park.

I would recommend to do WDW and THEN cruise. I think this makes for a more relaxed vacation. You can dash around the parks for attractions and then chill/relax on the cruise. Don't get caught up in waiting a long time for characters at WDW as your popular ones will be on the cruise too...

We park hop more than we don't. On a 7 night trip, 6 park days we probably hop at least 4 days. I don't like feeling restricted to one park. Plus, as mentioned...Dining. If you want to eat at EPCOT 4 times, you don't have to be in the park all day all 4 days...
