    Disney is hurting for cash

Edit: ugh, missed my quote so this is way late to the conversation People don't want to pay for the reduced experience plus wear stupid face masks all day.

September crew... what are you doing?

Have a trip planned for first week of Oct, but now that they've cancelled out our ADRs we don't really have a leg to stand on, even if we wanted to go, since you currently can't buy tickets. We were planning to stay off-site, and we were waiting on tickets closer to our FP+ window. Still...

    Masks - How Long?

Some of us would like to know how long we have to stay home.

Would going to Disney even be Fun?

I'm anxiously waiting to see what is rolled out. Masks are a no. No parades/fireworks will make me seriously stop and consider. No character dining is probably going to be a no. Social distancing, whatever that would actually mean probably wouldn't be an issue. IDK. I'm really hoping the...

    Not So Scary this Fall?

I was advised in a different thread yesterday to just wait. I was told parties outside opening night and Halloween historically don't sell out until closer to party time.

"Official" 2020 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Poor Unfortunate Souls (2020 MNSSHP CANCELLED)

Trying to decide what to do. I'm worried they may reduce # of tickets, so I want to be sure we get tickets before they potentially sell out. BUT I don't want to go at all if the parade is cancelled. If we buy now, then Disney modifies the experience making it not worth going (to us), we can't...

    Prepaid dinner question?

    I have this exact question.

I made my 180 day dining reservations anyway!

I've been booking dining for early October over the past week. I really hope these grim visions of Disney future don't come true, or idk if I want to go. I can't imagine wearing a mask (little kids in masks would not go well), or the rides being different. I'm hoping the hysteria calms down by then.

    split stay strategy

I'm wondering how the +10 window for ADRs will be affected, and also the FP+ window if we split. How much is it to park the car at the resort now? Is that going to be a wash (on-site at resort vs off-site at park)?

    split stay strategy

You think the cost of parking at the parks for two cars for the off-site days is going to offset the cost savings?

    split stay strategy

Trying to figure out total days still, but likely 3 one place, 4 the other. We'll be driving in from out of state, and we will likely be in two cars, yes.

    split stay strategy

I hope this is a good place to post. Wasn't sure which of the forums to post in. Working on planning a trip for October. It will be 10 people total (6 Disney adults, 3 Disney kids, and 1 1yo). To try to keep costs as low as possible, we're considering a split stay (half renting points and half...

    Several questions

I'm not seeing a FAQ post. Am I missing it? Several things. 1. When making reservations, who counts toward total? Everyone, including the under 3 crowd, or just guests that require tickets? (I have the same question for room booking purposes, if anyone can answer that for me, too.) 2. If...

    Savings for advance tickets

We're trying to get to WDW for August 2020. Is there any savings to be had by buying flex date tickets now vs waiting for when dated ticket prices are released?

    Disney Gift Cards versus Cash

I'm in a Dollar Tree and Kroger area. I dont even know what BJ's is. Could you explain what you mean about the gas points and how that relates to buying the gift cards? And what a Visa green dot is? I also have a Target debit. Just trying to figure out how to start this whole gift card savings...

    non-DIS vacation planning

I'm interested in time share renting for a non-Disney vacation. Anyone know any reputable sites? I used David's for our WDW vacation 3 years ago and loved the experience. Don't know who to trust for something non-Disney.

    family photographer at WDW?

I think that would put any session out of my modest budget. Maybe a beach session instead. :goodvibes

    lens help

Thanks, everyone. I don't have the budget for a new camera just now so I think I'm leaning toward quick fix then new camera long-term. I was messing around with camera today and was shooting outside (partial cloudy + shade) at 3.5 with ISO of 800. I always thought that you wanted a lower ISO...
