Buying an Annual Pass at 5pm

Hi all, Not been on here for a while, or to Disneyland in almost three years, but we're going in July. Not booked tickets, because we're going to get APs, but hotel and transport all booked! We arrive at around 2pm in Paris, and then we have to get to our hotel and check in (off-site)...

    RER tickets in advance.

HI all, My lady friend is going to DLRP in two weeks and she's wondering whether she can buy the Gare du Nord to Disney RER ticket in advance and get it posted here? She's worried that she won't have time or panic and get the wrong ticket on the day. Thanks!

Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Disney Trip For Us

Day 4 - Tuesday 26th May 2009 07:30 - Morning! Today is the day of my birthday surprise at the Lucky Nugget Saloon! Let's see if I can get through the day without feeling sick! 08:30 - Back in Disney Village again! Ah I love this place. Even this early in the morning it's a great place to...

    Park Tickets

You only want to go for 2 days? In that case, go to the ticket booths underneath the Disneyland Hotel at around 9am. There may well be queues! People in the UK (who seem to frequent this forum most of all) mostly get them posted to us - which is what we have always done. You should be ok...

Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Disney Trip For Us

Smoked swordfish was very very nice. It really was smoked though and VERY dry - not a taste I usually enjoy, but it was gorgeous. The papaya was so juicy that I drunk out of it at the end of my starter! There was a good 50-100ml of juice in the empty skin! Paradise!

    Armed police at Disneyland Paris

On our last visit, I noticed that in the open area between the park entrances and Disney Village (occupied by the station) were 3-4 armed police patrolling the area after park closing time. This really brings you back to earth with a bang doesn't it? We'd just come past the cast member exit...

Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Disney Trip For Us

Can't remember those two dishes to be honest. We never really considered the rest of the menu as we were dead set on having the TotS menu. Agree about Pirates - you should wait and see how many times we rode it in the end! Two more days to go yet! And yes - the food is definitely too...

Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Disney Trip For Us

Day 3 - Monday 25th May 2009 07:47 - Up and about again ready for our second day in the park! We know not to queue up as early today so we decide to have a slightly later start. 08:30 - we pick up a pan au chocolat each from the station. At least it's not a doughnut this time! 08:45 -...

Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Disney Trip For Us

Day Two - Sunday 24th May 2009 07:45 - Woooohooooo! We are literally bouncing off the walls. It's day one of four in the park. Never is there a more exciting time than the hour leading up to the return! 08:15 - Bit of a food misunderstanding at Marne la Vallee RER station. We see two...

The quietest weeks of the year?

I've been to Disneyland Paris five times now: November 1997 February 1998 September 2007 July 2008 May 2009 Naturally, the first two were the quietest, but I was wondering if there's a set week or two that you can guarantee to be quiet most years? Would I be right in thinking approx...

    From Sketch to Reality

There are some English copies left at DLRP! Disney Gallery in Disney Village had around 5 when I was in there on Wednesday (27th May). I bought one. Well worth €45.

Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Disney Trip For Us

Well here we are again. After our last visit (June 2008), we thought it would be ages until the next trip to the house of mouse, but it had come round very quickly. Here is the account, in diary form, of day one. Saturday 23rd May 2009 05:15 - the alarm goes off in sleepy Conisbrough...

Blue Lagoon - Worth the money?

We always try and have one meal in the Disney parks, but so far have restricted ourselves to cheaper fast food options such as Toad Hall and Colonel Haiti's place. We LOVE Pirates, so would like to eat in there. I noticed this menu on DLRPFoodGuide: Treasures of the Sea Menu - €39,00...

    Guided Tour - worth doing?

Hi all, In May, I will be going to DLRP for the 5th time and know my way round with my eyes shut by now! I was wondering if the Guided Tour is worth doing seeing as I already know the park quite well? I don't want to waste an hour or so if all it does is say "this is Discoverland and...

Booking for May - help please!

Hi all, Long time no speak on here! We're going again (me and t'other half) in May, and need to know the cheapest options. Last time, we stayed in Bussy-St-Georges but that hotel's prices have hit the roof. We want 5 days in the park and have got half price Eurostar tickets. £110...

    I've got an interview!

Thanks all for the kind comments! I'll hopefully be doing something where I can get away with French as good as Officer Crabtree off 'Allo 'Allo! Character work would be awesome, but I've also got my eye on Attraction Host, especially on Pirates. Talk about a dream job! I'd get paid money...

    I've got an interview!

You know how I told you about how I wanted to work at Disneyland next summer? Well - they've got back to me today and offered me an interview in Liverpool next month! Woohoo! I'm very excited! Shall I do the dance? Hmmm... Yeah why not!

    UK Disneyland Paris Casting Address

I'm a little concerned that I've sent my CV and covering letter off to an address that no longer exists! The one I've got is: UK Disneyland Paris Casting (A division of The Walt Disney Company Ltd.) Centre West 3 Queen Caroline Street Hammersmith London W6 9PE But I'm sceptical, as...

    Order of lands

Depends what you want to do ride-wise. If you go straight to BTM, you'll get on within 20 minutes or so. If you go straight to Pirates, you'll probably get about 4-5 rides with a queue of less than 5 minutes before the queues build up.
