FE: what do Canadian have that Americans don't?

Plymouth Navy Strength gin. :teeth: We can only get the regular stuff here. Yeah, I know that won't work as a FE gift...

    Disney Dream 12/29/2011

The Christmas decorations are still up. During the 2008 Wonder NYE cruise, there was a balloon drop in the atrium at midnight. Waiters were walking around with trays of hors d'oeuvres and handing out/refilling free glasses of sparkling wine and sparkling apple cider. (Free drinks! Yay!) You...

    Disney Dream 12/29/2011

This will be my third Disney cruise. Both of the others were 4 day cruises on the Wonder. I strangely only seem to cruise during holidays, the first was over Thanksgiving, the second was another New Year's Eve cruise.

    Last minute drivers license question

You should be fine. No one is going to match your address to anything. If you were using a passport as ID, for example, those don't even have an address on them...

    Disney Dream 12/29/2011

Hi all. So I'll be joining you guys on this cruise as well. My name is Sam, I like sunsets, long walks on the beach, cuddling and...uuummmmm...sorry...wrong board. :teeth: Anyway, cruising with me will be my imaginary friend Darryl, my other imaginary friend Ernie and the voices in our...

Those that have booked Cat 12 in the past

I booked an 11C. I figure as long as there's a bed, shower and toilet somewhere in the room, I'm fine with it. I don't tend to hang out in the room too much, anyway. (Of course, I'm one of those weirdos who mostly travels alone, so the reduced space isn't really an issue.)

    Where does the crew sleep?

You guys ever read Cruise Confidential? It has to do with Carnival ships, not Disney, but a fun read, nonetheless, about all sorts of stuff like this. http://www.amazon.com/Cruise-Confidential-Waterline-Parties-Travelers/dp/193236160X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1260807366&sr=1-1

    Air Travel

Any of the electronics you mentioned are fine. iPods, video games, DVD players, laptops are all good. Things like cell phones, walkie talkies, radios, portable TVs and the like are not. Generally, if it doesn't require sending or receiving a signal in order to operate, it's fine. If it does...

    discover scuba

I can recommend Octopus Diving in St. Maarten. I didn't do a Discover Scuba dive there, but that's where I did my checkout dives when I got SCUBA certified. The staff were fantastic. They definitely knew their stuff and they were both safe divers and friendly as well. They do offer Discover...

    Castaway Cay 5k

Haven't run it myself, but I would think he'd be fine. It's a 5K. Assuming he didn't stop, he could run 10 minute miles and still be done in half an hour.

    Galley Tour

I know it happens on the sea day on the 4 night cruises, not sure about the longer ones. There are no tickets, just show up wherever that day's Navigator says to meet. Yes, it's free.

    Passport at port question

You'll also need to show it when going through Immigration/Customs on the way back into the country after the cruise is over. But, yeah, after you're checked in, you won't need it at all on the cruise itself.
