    Babysitting Question

Can families not staying at a particular resort still use the babysitting clubs that are at the resort? It seems like all of the clubs - i.e. Simba's Club, etc. -- are at the Deluxe Resorts. We're staying in CBR beginning this Friday evening, and are looking for a night out next week. Like...

Fri, Dec 12 - Disney Studios

According to the Disney website, the scheduled time for Fantasmic on 12/12 is 6 pm, rather than 7 pm.. Does anyone know the reason why?

    Sunday, Dec 7

Not sure where to put this...Big Philadelphia Eagles fan here, and my E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles! are playing the hated Cowboys on December 7, a day we'll be in EPCOT. Looks like the 'Boys actually have a competitive team this year, the first in a few years, so I can't take for granted that we'll win...

    Cinderella's Royal Table

Quick question for those who have recently attended - what percentage of the girls attending the breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table wear their princess costume to breakfast? We have two girls in our group (both age 5) and were looking for a rough idea of what to expect. Thanks much!

    Cheapest Park Tickets

The addition of the free character breakfast vouchers just about clinches the deal for us -- with 6 adults and 3 kids, that is most likely a $150 or so savings! Two questions, though: 1) does Paramount sell the actual tickets themselves, or a voucher that you redeem at WDW for the 7-day...

Purchasing Park Tix online thru the DIS

A couple of quick questions about ordering tickets online through the link on the home page here on the DIS. For those who have purchased online, how have you found the experience? Do tickets arrive at home address in plenty of time for your trip? Are there any 'hidden' charges, such as...

Transpertation From Dwh To Universal Parks

We're in the same boat as you...staying in WDW with no car, going to Universal. Tiffany Town Car has been recommended here as the cheapest way to go -- it will cost us approx $65, round trip, for a private van. You can coordinate your departure time from both WDW and Universal with them.

    Transport from CBR to Boardwalk

Even though the two resorts are relatively close together, I imagine walking from CBR to Boardwalk is not a viable option. What is the best option for traveling between the two? The kicker is that we want our children to surprise some of their friends at their room early in the AM (early...

    Activate AP's 1st morning?

Curious about that last post re activating the APs before check-in. We're due to arrive in WDW at about 11 pm when we come down in December, so we called the CBR front desk this week and the cast member there said we could show the AP voucher at that time, and return later on our first 'day'...

How do you get to US/IOA from CBR at WDW w/ no car?

Please help...we're a group of 9 (six adults, 3 children) staying at CBR at WDW for 9 days in December. We're not renting a car or van for our stay, but will be looking to go to Universal for a day during our stay. What is the best (i.e. cheapest) way to get to Universal? Many thanks....

How do you get to Universal from CBR at WDW w/ no car?

Please help...the subject line pretty much says it all. We have 3 families, 9 people in all -- 6 adults, 3 kids. Will not have rental car, as we are staying onsite at CBR. Are looking to spend 1 day at Universal. Do we do taxi, limo service (van, I'm thinking), or something else? While...

    AP Question - Multiple Families

A quick AP question -- we are going in Dec, 2 families w/ kids, 1 set of grandparents -- 3 rooms in all. I thought I had seen that 1 AP could book up to 3 rooms. Does it matter whether the reservations are all under the same name --- the name of the person holding the AP, presumably -- or not...

I am soooo confused...help w/ early Dec trip, please! (A bit long, but not too bad)

Packages, codes, etc.....all too confusing. But we're in a slight state of panic because we haven't booked anything yet. Trip will be 12/6-12/14 (roughly), w/ 2 families - 4 adults, 3 children ages 4-7, maybe 1 set of grandparents. We stayed in POR (Riverside) in Dec 00 when it was Dixie...

Swan/Dolphin Question - AAA rate w/ Entertainment Card?

Given that neither my wife nor I are teachers, govt workers, nurses, etc., is it safe to say that if I can get AAA to commit to a $129.50 rate I should book it? If the $129.50 rate is a mistake by AAA, you think they'll renege on the rate?

Swan/Dolphin Question - AAA rate w/ Entertainment Card?

Our family is looking to visit WDW in early December 2003. I made a quick call yesterday to our AAA office, and the agent there said she could get a $259 AAA rate, and that we could then apply the Entertainment Card 50% discount on that rate, further reducing the cost of the room to $129.50...

    Disney Resort w/ indoor pool?

Are there any resorts on Disney property (including DTD area, regardless of type of resort -- value, moderate, deluxe) that have an indoor pool? We're heading down to DW in December 2003 with kids who love to swim, but want to anticipate those cooler evenings that we experienced in 2000 --...

    Real Easy Swan/Dolphin Question(s)

I read through the updated Swan/Dolphin FAQ on the board, and just wanted to be certain of what I saw there. Does an Entertainment Card really get 50% off the regular room rate at the Swan or Dolphin? In Value season (early Dec 2003)? So I could expect room rates starting at about $150 per...

For those who take their children out of school to go on a WDW vacation...

Thanks for all the feedback...based on experiences being posted, it seems like the younger the children are, the more likely it is that the time missed will be okay. We should consider ourselves lucky that our son likes to do his school work, so I don't think taking some time out on the way...

For those who take their children out of school to go on a WDW vacation...

...I have a few questions. First, the background...we're planning a family trip for 12/03, and our son will be in 2nd grade (daughter will not be in kindergarten until 2004.) I'd like for this to be a knock-down, drag-out trip to WDW, complete with a two-week stay - to see other attractions in...

Trying to afford a 2 wk stay (w Deluxe)

Am trying to map out costs of a 2 wk stay in WDW in 12/03 -- and desperately want to have the family stay 1 wk in a deluxe (AKL or WL). To do so, will have to consider a value- (or low moderate)priced hotel, such as those that may be available in Downtown Disney. I'm sure some others have done...
