SK has more sand dollars than any other beach I've found on our Gulf coast. but like lillygator said, you have to head out to the first sand bar to find them. the baby ones are the size of a dime, and you can harvest only two per day by Florida law.

the only thing that has changed is you can see the bottom of the tank again. it has been in need of a refurb for a couple of years now, hopefully the new filtration system does the job.

the weekend prior to this last one (if that makes sense) it was open for feeding while the guide showed the lagoon still closed. but the only rays in the lagoon were cownoses, the bigger atlantic rays were in the pools in front of the shark encounter. it might be on a day to day basis at this point.
