Virgin Atlantic do a shuttle down from Glasgow to Gatwick. I don't know if they do Inverness. Even though you cant get a direct flight from Glasgow in the winter Virgin will add on a shuttle with British Airways to get you down. Phone them and see.:goodvibes

Thanks for the interesting comments. And, I have to say that in my experience it is easier to fly with a baby than a toddler or child. Babies sleep more and are more easier. This is from experience. Will tell you all how we get on with the simulator and what our decision is.......

To be honest - you might be grateful for a pool thats not in full sun in the afternoon *** in August whew it will be so hot. I personally think it would be better to have the sun in the morning and early afternoon than in the heat of the day.
