***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Made it safely to AZ! The girls did great on the plane, DD1 watched The Little Mermaid, and DD2 slept the entire flight! (I bought her own seat, so grateful that I did!).

FP's went okay. No Princess Fairytale Hall avaliable for the whole 10 days we are there. :(

We got FEA twice. :)

My nana is okay. She's now in a memory care unit and getting better. They've taken her off all of her meds and we'll see where we go from there.

TGIF and i hope everyone has a restful weekend!

Hugs to you and your girls, @pigletgirl. I'm glad the flight went well and you got to see (and have your DD2 meet) your nana.

And, great on FP's and FEA. I can't wait for my day next week-- so nervous!!! I'm sure Princess Fairytale Hall will open up; it can't be booked solid. You could also rearrange something later!

yeah, mostly it helps me plan our touring for meeting the characters. :)

once i have some time, i'll post our full itinerary.

Yay! For FEA!!:cheer2:

It seems that they did not distribute any FP for the Princesses during that time period. There is speculation that they are changing things.

So glad your nana is doing well! I hadn't replied to your previous posts about her as I am an RN and know that pneumonia in someone that elderly can be extremely dangerous! I was worried you wouldn't make it there in time. SO GLAD you did! Just moved my own mother into assisted living this past month and know it's not easy. Enjoy your time there with her!

Very interesting about the princesses. I would love it if they added Elena of Avalor (we're watching it right now :) )I was thinking that it is very possible. I wanted to ask you guys....I wasn't actually planning to get a fp for the princess hall. we'll be seeing Cinderella at 1900 park fare/CRT. But, my girls would really love to see Rapunzel. My plan was to hit pfh right after our EMM rides. I'm not sure if you remember that link that someone shared(sorry! I can't remember who? @areno79 maybe it was you? ) but it was an awesome review of EMM. He rode a bunch of rides, and at rope drop hit the princesses and something else in fantasyland before grabbing breakfast right before the 10am deadline. Do you think this is still doable? I love having fp because it just kinda "guarantees" a minimal wait....but I hate to waste a fp on something that I'm sure we can get at rd. what do y'all think?

Yay @pigletgirl and hope you have a great weekend. As for princesses, if they truly are getting rid of fps for PFH I am going to them early, right after Peter Pan on my first MK day (we have PPO BOG that day). But I am a little nervous as that's also EMM - I know everyone says it does not impact RD or PPO breakfast folks.
 
@pigletgirl So happy you had a safe flight and had the chance to see your Nana and for your sweet girls to visit with her as well. Something is fishy about the princess situation, so I hope it opens for everyone, but yay for the other great FPs!
 
So having a mini freak out. I was just on one of my Facebook Disney groups and someone who had fast pass selection today posted now they got hardly anything they wanted in the mornings. They tried to get FEA on their last day and ended up with a super late time. Im scared now especially since I need to get FEA on our Epcot day which is my daughter's birthday. And I had been thinking that it was going so well with everyone here.

ugh not good...try not to have a mini freak out. I don't want to have a mini freak out either! I really am very nervous about my day (Tuesday ) This same thing happened with adrs. Everyone the week before my date seemed to have no issues at all making reservations. There was hardly anything available for me for my 180 day. I was actually very shocked. Like, did I do something wrong? and I had all these charts and everything with 2nd and 3rd choices! lol. But, it just makes me nervous about fp....of course I just told my husband it's very likely we won't be getting fp for fea, and he just keeps stuffing chips in his face and tells me that we should cancel the trip o_O>:(
ugh...my daughter used to come home from preschool quoting her teacher..."you get what you get and you don't get upset"....I actually have been saying this to myself throughout this whole planning process!!! All I need to know I learned from sending my daughter to preschool.....
but if I don't get ANY fp in any park for anything before 4...I'll be pretty darn upset.

@SilSprBea , do you maybe have a backup plan of a ppo akershus breakfast? or maybe you could try for one still? I actually saw someone cancelling one recently, so I'm sure it'll happen again in 2 months.

Sorry to start a mini panic. You are so right. We should adopt the preschool motto. My kids wouldnt know the difference. You know what's funny is that my daughter doesn't even know there is an FEA. She just knows she is going to meet Elsa and Anna. I have to think there will be an FEA fastpass for us. It's the only thing I care about really. We will be in MK theee days so I'm sure I will get at least one 7DMT.

My fast pass day is Wednesday. I will say a prayer for all of us! And I think you and I will be in Epcot the same day, right? We are going 12/7 but eating dinner at Akershus so hoping for a late afternoon or evening fastpass.

I know this won't really make anyone feel better, but, I'm sure there are lots of factors in her fp selection process..like how many people were in her party, which days she had open for Epcot. you know? was her last day her only epcot day and her only choice? Who knows...we'll just do the best we can :) your daughter's birthday will be so special regardless.

And yes 12/7! But, we have the ppo breakfast for akershus that day. I would really like to get a fp for later on, but since we are early morning people, being back in the hotel at 7ish, I am not too hopeful. I am hoping that the ppo will help us with this (unless they open the park early...)
My girls do not know there is a ride either!! It's mostly for me! lol I was Frozen obsessed. I'm a bit better now :) I think I'm Zootopia obsessed now :)
They don't know that there is a meet and greet for the sisters, but my 4 year old just keeps saying how she'll see them. So, that's something we really have to do too :( I am surprised there is no fp for that, and I wondering how long the wait will be to see them. :(
Id love to get an extra 7dmt for later in the trip, but we are doing emm, so hopefully they will just enjoy the time they get that morning. at least they'll try it.
I just have no idea how it will be getting the other rides.....

I'm thinking an issue I'm having right now is....
..if I can get fea for any other day, do I switch my park days around just for that fp? I wonder if any others are planning to do that....It just would be such a "project" to do since we're not park hopping...don't know if it's worth it....hmm
