***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Thanks for that quick response. I like that print, too. So many decisions! I'll probably go with the regular hipster. If I don't fill it up, it should be plenty light!

If you are unsure on the size you want you should go to a Vera store or anywhere that sells vera bags and just try the bags out. They wont have the patterns but will have the same bag sizes. The Disney hipster is the triple zip hipster at the Vera Store. It's the Vera hipster I have and its great.

BTW, I've put in a thin cardigan into my hipster but a jacket or swearshirt would not fit.

Very kind of you @1437disney! :-) This sparks an idea! Talby's Touring Plans! haha Who else is looking for H&V F!? I check roughly hourly when I'm at home, which isn't 24/7 but I work at home so there is that. As long as I'm in there looking, I'd be more than happy to check for someone else. (No strings attached; no need to reciprocate, really!!) I can actually snatch it up too if there is room in my itinerary and we can then coordinate a time. Would anyone like help finding an H&V F!? Just PM me your date(s), meal and/or times, and party number. :-)

Same goes here. I can check for others as well! I check really embarrassingly frequently during the day for a Chef Mickey and Ohana. I'm adding the Ohana for @1437disney to my list. Happy to keep checking for others and snatch up too for a later drop. Just pm me exactly what you need!

YAY!! :yay:

Now that I have all my ADRs....

My TP is sitting idle. I'm more than willing to set up searches for anyone here and snag them. Just post your desired ADR.
I'm sure one of these fabulous people in this thread will find exactly what you want!

oh my gosh, I hope they figure out what is causing it and that whatever it is does NOT require surgery.

For your ADRs a trick I learned about here is go to MDE and hover over the "things to do" tab and then click on "make reservations" under dining. Then you can sort by park and by day and by time (or meal) and see everything that is available in the parks you're going to be in for the times you want at a glance. It is much easier than checking one restaurant at a time. Good luck! there seems to be a lot of stuff left if not the most popular stuff, that doesn't mean it's not good!

Thanks for that tip Lisa. I did notice last night and was surprised that I could find a way to search for places that serve breakfast in particular. I'll have to play around more.

Unfortunately I only got 1 ADR made yesterday (Yak & Yeti early dinner) before the pain interrupted me. From 7-11:30pm last night I was in severe pain and the nurse had to keep calling the dr to approve more pain meds. Finally the dose got to the point of making me feel like a zombie and I was able to sleep very well all night. I am pain-free right now because it comes and goes. They still aren't convinced it's appendicitis, but it sounds like they are leaning towards taking it out conservatively because of my level of pain. Geez I sure hope they are right if they do that.

Thanks for all of the well wishes everyone!

@JamieOak I'm so sorry you're going through such an ordeal. I imagine, among other things, it is frustrating! I sure hope they get to the bottom of it, one way or the other, very soon! Only when you are pain-free---May I ask where you are from? I notice how you're planning a US/WDW trip, so figure you are abroad?

I think you all have enabled me. I want a Vera Bradley Disney bag for my upcoming trip. DH told me to go ahead and get what I want. I'm leaning towards thevP,ups Up print by could also go with the ble Disney Dreaming.

Now I'm trying to decide between the Hipster or Mini Hipster. We won't have kids, so I won't have to carry much. Just phone, ID, Disney card, Advil, band aids, breath mints, little bit of cash. I may have a water bottle, Bu I could use a carabiner clip for that. I might also have a rain jacket some days.

I think I could stuff the jacket in the regular hipster, but not the mini.

If you have either size, can you tell me what yo're able to fit in it?
I have had a hipster in my possession and I do not think it is large enough to hold a sweatshirt. maybe if it is very thin and you are a child size but I'm not even sure if then.

Mini hipster was what I carried on my trip in 2014 but I also had a backpack in the stroller. It is like a wallet on a string so anything you can't fit in a wallet (plus things like advil, bandaids, breath mints) won't fit in it. IMO you need something backpack sized for a sweatshirt. There are smaller backpacks, I'm hoping to fit two into the campus size

Oh I'm near Pittsburgh, PA. I meant a Universal Studios/WDW by that. Maybe I should make it USO/WDW. I'm still working on learning all the abbreviations/acronyms.

Silly me! :rotfl2: Your abbreviations are just fine, I'm sure it's me! lol :-)

oh my gosh! I'm so sorry you had a bad night but I guess glad you were in the hospital. I hope they figure it out soon. Y&Y is a great choice. I'm hoping I can make mine :) it depends on the SW dessert party being offered on a saturday. if not i have to give it up.

If we want to pick up the SW dessert party, it'll have to be one of our later days where I'm not going to schedule as strictly. I want to make it so that we can park hop on those days if we want to get more times in certain parks. So I think I'll leave the evening dining open on those days and just look at what's available to reserve while we are there, so we have flexibility. It probably doens't make sense to grab something now just to change it later since there's already "leftovers" available now and there will likely be better "leftovers" closer to the date wen people really finalize things and cancel before their 24 hr mark. So those last 3 days are open for HDDR if that ever becomes available, SW dessert party, or anything else that pops up.

if any leftovers work for you i'd grab it and then change it. I think it DOES make sense to grab them, people will continue to make ADRs right up to the trip. I'm sure HDDR will come available and hoping SW dessert is available every day. I'm thinking it will be just because it has been so far and with the removal of the MSEP they are surely not going to cut more nighttime entertainment the busiest month of the year (yes the first two weeks of december should be less busy but sandwiched between tgiving and xmas surely they will just keep that thing going all month long!?)

Hi everyone! I've been reading along but haven't posted much. Everyone's plans look great! I thought I'd share mine. My daughters are 8 and 4.
We are staying at Poly December 4-9 and I recently talked my husband into 1 more night at Port Orleans in a Princess suite on December 9.
My tentative park schedule looks like this.
Sunday-MK until we can check in at Poly and hang out there the rest of evening.

Monday- Epcot in the morning. Lunch at San Angel Inn. The kids are going to spend the evening at Lilo's playhouse. My husband and I will take some time exploring Main Street. We always speed through it and really want to take in the details and shop without the girls.

Tuesday- AK for a few hours in the morning and back to Poly for a rest then MVMCP

Wednesday- Morning at Poly. Head over to Epcot for the afternoon/evening. Dinner at Via Napoli

Thursday-Breakfast at CRT, this is a first for us! Morning at MK and rest and then back for our 2nd MVMCP.

Friday- Hollywood Studios. Lunch at 50's Prime Time. Check in for a surprise night in the Princess Room. Explore the Port Orleans resorts.

Saturday- Tentatively- have breakfast at Garden Grill and get a couple last rides in. Leave by noon for the auto train home. :(

Welcome!!! Your plan sounds fun! We'll be at POR in a princess room too, checking out on the 10th, so maybe we'll bump into you! Are you up in the DC area? Noticed you were taking the autotrain home. We are in the DC area, but we are driving, so our drive home starts Saturday afternoon with a sleep stop on the road!
