Well, I called yesterday but nothing yet. The CM at the phone was very nice and told me to try later in the week and up to the day prior my arrival date to see if anything is release.

I called this morning and she said all she was showing for "other guest bedroom" was the 40% and 40% off next year...no 50 yet

Just called again--the CM said with 100% assurance that the only people who can get 50% off are Cast members, but she would check anyway

Just the 40% for other guest bedroom right now

I am thinking (sadly) that because Free Dining starts on Aug 28th (the day we check in), that there is probably no need for them to up the discount to 50%, since they probably have high occupancy. I will still try calling until the day we check in to see if there is an additional discount.

My family has the 40% F&F discount for our room at POR from Dec 21 -Jan 1. Any chance of them offering 50% or a discount on the dining plan for these dates? When might these discounts be released?

I know I can call to check, just wondering if anybody has been able to get the extra 10% and discounted dining plan lately. I keep meaning to call when I get home from work, and then it's 10pm before I know it. If I get to call tomorrow, I will report back with my findings. We are booked with CM discount currently at POR Nov 1-3. Will be calling to see if we can add a night possibly anyway.

This is online now and gives you only a 4 day base ticket with the room rate. I haven't calculated savings on it though.

Okay, thanks, I agree, happy to have the great discount to begin with! I will still be calling to see if I can add a night, but if not, we have a separate reservation to cover the rest of our trip.

I'm looking into April dates via a cast member and hearing back about 50% off rates. Have not booked yet, but plan to.

Edit: Unfortunately, the f&f discount for my April dates is 40%. The 50% discount the cast member is seeing is for the CM themselves, not f&f.

I have a question..... I read somewhere on here that the CM can only use the discount 4x's . Is that correct?
My daughter has booked a room for her and her fiancé. She has used one and they will be using another one in a couple of weeks.

We are going down in March to stay she will not staying with us. She booked me the room without her staying with me.
So she will have used her discount twice by the time we come down in March, and March will be the 3rd time.
So does that mean she only has one resort stay left with the discount?

CMs can book three reservations for the same resort and dates, as long as they are staying in one of the rooms. CMs can make unlimited reservations for themselves. Friends and family reservations have a limit of five a year.

No news on deeper seasonal discounts for Spring.
