This happened to me. I got the 3x ebay bucks promo last time and I didn't see the invite till later in the day, then I had to add my Target gift cards added and buy the ebay cards. Then I had to wait for them, finally got them and went to GCM. Still showed they had more than 10 available as it usually does. I put the Target cards in my cart, but I wanted a few more, went back tried to click more in but it wasn't adding more and then as I'm trying to check out with what I had it said my cart was empty! They ran out of cards right as I was trying to buy them and they suddenly were gone from my cart! I was so frustrated, lol, ugh! But. the good thing is that now this next time, whenever that is, I'm all set and ready to buy once I get that email about an ebay bucks promo!

I'm so glad I started doing eBates in addition to everything. My mom and I were ordering stuff online at kohls for my wedding, and I earned $5 cash back there. She decided to join and j got a $20 referral bonus plus $5 for her joining! A couple clicks for a couple extra $ here and there really adds up. It will be nice going on our honeymoon and having extra $$ for stuff.. The spa at aulani may be in our future

That is my question too with regards to eBay. I bought eBay from Target last week, but was too late to take advantage of the 3x bucks. I am holding on to them until the next offer rolls around. Target GCs are easily stored on their site, does eBay or Paypal have a similar option for storing eBay eGC's?

No I make a spreadsheet to keep track. If you use a portion of an eBay giftcard PayPal saves that but not unused ones.

I'm trying to get my DD and her fiance into eBates and other reward programs like SB too. They (mostly him) does a lot of online shopping and gaming so he could kill it. They are getting married later this year and honeymooning at Aulani also. I am going to mention your idea regarding the Spa, that is definitely good incentive

Honestly I wish I would have started this earlier! We just booked our airfare and hotel for Maui (heading there for a few days before Aulani). I was able to get cash back on the Maui hotel and I think the inner island flights, so if all goes well I should get about $30 from that (assuming that credits down the road). Like I said I had bought a few things from Kohls and got cash back. I know I'll be using Etsy quite a bit and they often have 1% cash back. Not huge but I keep telling myself, it all adds up. We're heading to WDW for a short stay in April so once I'm done with that trip I think I'm going to put all of our "extra" Ebates and Swagbucks towards stuff for the honeymoon.

Our wedding is at a Marriott so I'll be REALLY thrilled if I can get cash back on all of that since we have to make the payments online... I'd have a few hundred dollars in my pocket if that's the case.

I made a Disney GC purchase on Target...and I accidentally shipped it to my old address that was saved in the account!! I called right away but they were unable to cancel it! I got the "your order is on the way" email with the UPS tracking #...any advice what I should do next???

Make yourself a UPS account. It's possible to have the order held at a local UPS center or UPS store where you can go pick it up.

However, you may need some proof that the old address was yours.

I know we can use ebay gc to buy the target cards but can you also use eBay for the fees or do you have to pay those out of pocket?

You can use gift cards for shipping as well.

so for those of you don't get the 3x, 4x, 5x ebay buck deals. when do you buy target gc from gcm? and how much at a time do you usually buy and what amount of cards? thanks. so far haven't received any promotions so just wondering (been on ebay since early 2000s and have never received a deal since they started it)

This probably doesn't apply to you, but to be clear, just because you're a member of eBay, you're not automatically enrolled in the eBay Bucks promotion. eBay rolled it out in 2010 and you still have to sign up for it in addition to your eBay account. And even then still, you have to agree to receive marketing directly from eBay. (And even then, not everyone gets the 3x, 4x, and 5x promotions.)

Ain't that the truth. I have yet to get an ebucks offer. Thinking of making a new account and see if that might help.

Wow, you are so right! Usually it shows up the next day for me. I get too antsy over this kinda stuff, I need to be more patient.

I just noticed your signature, my DD is getting married Sept 24th. She has not booked air yet, they are still trying to decide if they want to add another island. You bring up a good point about getting cashback/rewards for some of the wedding expenses, I didn't even think of that. I'm paying for all of the hotel rooms for my immediate family. I need to check out who participates with who. I just signed up with someone that advertised cashback with travel companies. Sad I can't remember who it was but I am learning so much, so fast, on this thread, my head is spinning. If I come across any special deals I will let you know.

Awesome! We are getting married Sept 3rd. We booked at the Grand Wailea (Hilton) in Maui and I believe we ended up with 2% cash back through Hilton's actual website, and 1% or 2% with Hawaiian Airlines which was nice. I know Ebates often has Expedia and Orbitz and such too around 1-3%. We'll be in Aulani for a week so I figured even if I can get a few hundred in Ebates/Swagbucks to put towards Disney gift cards, that can go towards a couple of meals and the spa.

thanks yes I did enroll but haven't see any so that's why I was wondering how much you tend to do for just the 2x ebay bucks to make a savings. I know they offer $150 so figure thats the better one to get since you can get more with less shipping but was wondering how many people tend to buy at once to make a savings. thanks

I keep $1200 in Ebay cards, and $1200 in Target cards. Keep $1200 for cards in transit. Any surplus gets converted to Disney cards.
