Has there ever been any Osborne Lights merchandise for sale?

We bought the AP ornament and shirt at Youse Boys Merchandise this afternoon. Also stopped by SIDS and they had the glasses.

I'm still amazed that the Disney Store app which is supposed to allow you to "buy all the stuff you could find in the parks... at home!" doesn't seem to have any Osborne Lights stuff in it. (And searching for Osborne takes you straight to "Mama Hook Knows Best Book and CD" voiced by Sharon Osbourne)

Someone already posted the link to the pins but here are the picture anyways

Also if any of you are AP Disney is doing the glasses again:

I thought that Sid Cahuenga's closed?

I just got back from DHS and they are completely out of the pins. :sad1: the other merchandise are going fast. I don't know if they're planning on ordering more shirts and ornaments. I know the pins were probably Limited Edition so they can't just make more of them.

I was afraid this would happen. We aren't going until Dec. 22nd. We planned a short trip just for Osborne lights one last time. I went ahead last week and ordered an ornament and pin from ebay. They were reasonable...now the pins are like $50!

Wow glad I got a pin while we were there two weeks ago. Being new APs we got the glasses and later in the evening we gifted them to a couple of different kids to enjoy.

Hey Skuttle can you shed some light on you Bird picture. We caught them flying by accident while we were there. When we inquired someone only said it was an earlier show ???

I walked through all the gift shops. They did have a few more ornaments. Took me forever to find it. And that was asking everywhere. Where I finally found it was the gift shop on the streets of America. You have to ask for it but they didn't havr many at all.
I got the ornament a few days ago at the same place. There were quite a few hanging on the display.

We actually stumbled upon it during Easter week this year. We were passing by the Tree of Life and saw several CMs getting ready for something so we stopped. We arrived right before the birds flew in and landed on the stand that's on the left side of the picture. They fly in from somewhere outside of the park (I don't remember exactly where, but they told us how far they flew and I remember being shocked at how far they flew). They stayed on the stand while the CMs talked about them for several minutes. Then they flew back to wherever they came from. It was, by far, one of the coolest things I've ever seen at WDW. I don't know if they still do it. I know they told, at that time, it wasn't on the time guide. I think they call it "Winged Encounters" or something like that.

I can't believe the pins are already sold out! I was going to call this week to see about ordering now because I knew they might sell out before we get there in mid- Dec. DD is a big pin collector, and we love the Osbourne Lights, so I wanted to get her one, and surprise her on the trip. It's also very disappointing that they are being sold on eBay for $40-50 - you can make a good profit for a lot less, and let people get something special - I will not being paying anywhere near that! I am paying for a trip partially to see them one more time, which is much more rewarding. I wonder if the resellers are the reason they are gone so quickly, scooping up multiples to scalp?:sad2:

Maybe Disney should limit the number sold? But how in the world would they keep up with that?

I feel bad for you who wanted one of these. I really think that it's odd that they always seem to sell out so quickly.

I wish disney would only sell a limited amount each week. And possibly limit the number purchased to one per person, per transaction. Of course people can still buy as many as they want, but it would be more of a hassale if you buying a bunch just to resell.

I hope they get more merchandise in. It just doesn't seem right that Disney wouldn't order enough and sell out over a month before Christmas. Especially knowing they are expecting record numbers of guests.

I agree with many PPs here. I'm sad to see the reports of the pins and ornaments already being sold out. I feel like it's unfair to make such a small number of items, especially for the last year, when they run for enough time that it will still be packed with visitors at the end. Not all of us can make it early on when they debut (we're going 12/11) and I know it's the luck of the draw and "not everyone can get everything" but I don't know, it's still a bit disappointing. This is my first - and obviously last - time seeing them despite going dozens of times and I would've loved a pin to remember it. I will try to keep my hopes up a bit and hope to get lucky and find something when we go! I just feel like making things a limited edition of 3000 is a bit crazy and will only lead to people scooping them up immediately to resell. Okay, sad rant over haha!

My friend got the mug over Thanksgiving and it's super cute! I hope to find that green shirt with "It's a Wrap!" to get in addition to a mug, and if the merchandise powers that be are happy, a pin!

Hi,
I realize this is a reaallllly late reply to your post last year about the "Osbourne Ornament". We were lucky enough to have visited Hollywood Studios last year during November and enjoyed the Osbourne Family Festival of Lights for the very first time. It was so cool!!! We were first time Premier Passholders, I didn't realize until we returned home that you had to inquire about the AP Christmas ornaments etc in order to find them. Long story longer, if in fact you happen to have that "extra" one that mentioned I would love to buy it!

Thanks again,
Carina

I have an extra regular Osborne Ornament if anyone is interested send me a pm
