We booked the premium package and are doing the illuminations dessert party on Wednesday before the race. We are also doing the beverage demo that day, I believe it is a tequila one. We will get 2 days usage of the premium areas, will be nice to have somewhere to sit while eating and drinking at the booths!

Being from La La Land and growing up watching the Dodgers, I'm rooting for the home team, but I haven't been very invested in baseball this year. But, GO BIG BLUE!

No special events for us. We plan on doing MVMCP on the 8th. We will buy tickets at the gate with the military discount. Unless we just decide we're too exhausted for it, but hopefully we'll have slept in plenty after the race! I thought about a wine demo on the 9th, but I haven't committed yet and think since it's our first F&W Festival trip we might just enjoy the booths and take it easy.

What's everyone's weekend running plan look like? I have 3.5 tonight and 10 or so on Sunday.... Ramping back up after a race a few weeks ago. I hope corrals and bibs come out today - I'm getting super excited!

The Phillies are already out. If they were in I wouldn't go near the Mets but the Mets usually suck and their fans deserve something nice for a change. That and I don't follow baseball that closely. :rolleyes1

I am not running in the W&D - wish I was.

I have a 7 miler tomorrow and a 14 miler on Sunday. Building up to the Dopey.

I have 12 X 800 scheduled this weekend, it looks like Sunday may be cooler. There's a 10k about 2:20 hrs. away. There's a small chance I do it.

Training wise I need some hills each week and my core training needs to be changed up a bit. We were kayaking 2-3 times a week but the earlier sunset has botched that up.
