August Exercise Challenge: "Every Day is a Good Day for Disney - AND for Exercise"

Our first trip with a kiddo was in 1997, our beloved baby was turning one, over the next two years he enjoyed looking at vacation pics and video. We returned in 1999, we were so excited to be at the MK again with him. I so loved watching the world through his eyes, holding back saying anything, we were always seeing amazement and joy as his eyes lit up and he voiced wonder and curiosity. Upon seeing the castle, we were met with his tearing up and his utter shock that the castle was not pink not a birthday cake. What I had seen as hideous, and thankfully kept it to myself, had been his ideal. He quickly got over it, millisecond quick!
 




I'm in again this month. Think I've got to lower my goal to 1000. I go back to work Wednesday and will lose an hour of my workout time. :sad:

Have been out of town but today got an hour walk on the beach!

My own report for yesterday is 25 minutes ("walking" the cats for 50 minutes, so 25 minutes of actual walking :laughing: ) and I'm at 55/620.

Front page is updated, and a thunderstorm is rolling in, so I'm going to get off the computer for a bit.

Back from vacation and caught up on both challenges. Didn't want to miss anything! ;)

Goal is 1000 minutes again this month. Back with 71 minutes running and 74 minutes walking for a total of 145/1000.
 
I'm finally on the board with 33 minutes last night. I just started a new training program and my minutes will fluctuate greatly with each day's activities. I ran 3 miles last night (1 "slow", 1.5 tempo/speed runs, .5 fast fast fast.)

This may be the first month I am happy about coming in under the numbers (because it means I am getting faster) so I will make up the numbers with cross training :) Tonight I get to bike!
