** Lets Chat - Daily Chit Chat**

Morning all, I worked all weekend and am in the next 2 days on lates so hope they will be better then weekend gone where it was busy

Good morning everyone... so the weather here in the Midlands is looking pretty awful and cloudy for the rest of the week. How droll. I hope it warms up a bit for my mud run on Saturday or it might be a bit cold!

Is anyone near London? I hear they're getting 21°C today! Lucky so and so's

It's not cold here in Surrey, but there is a lot of grey cloud and quite windy.

I've had a busy few days. DD graduated from uni on Friday. Bless her, the rain didn't let up all day.

Yesterday I took her to see Les Miserables as a graduation present. I wasn't really looking forward to it but after the first 30 minutes I was absolutely hooked. A great show which I'd like to see again. (DD kept getting cross with me referring to the leading character as Hugh!)

Congrats to your DD on graduating. I was never a fan of Les Mis but my dad has converted me, would love to see the show

Congrats @Dimplenose Libby on your DD graduation, how awful the weather was so bad, I hope it didnt ruin the event to much for her!

Morning all

Hope everyone is well.:thumbsup2

Just a random question, I was wondering if anyone here is into Opera, I adore certain pieces from selected Operas, and have been to one Opera before which I loved!:goodvibes I have just discovered Tristan and Isolde which I am obsessed listening to esp Act 3 at the moment, just wondering if anyone else is into Opera?:charac2:

Love Carmen, that is the only Opera I like. Saw a production of it when I was at school.

I like the phantom of the Opera :rotfl:

OK OK, I know its not quite the same thing. However I do adore classical music and I've been known to listen to Classic FM once in a while.

I've never really thought much about Opera but I bet its amazing. Are the singers are so powerful they don't need microphones?

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I thought I might share some pictures of my mud run :) It was tough but totally worth it! I think I've caught the bug because I want to do another one now. :)

Great pictures abouve Rachel ^:thumbsup2 Well done

Good morning all

Hope you had a great weekend. Its a gloomy looking morning here in Cardiff but I have been assured its going to get nicer this afternoon.

Did anyone do anything nice on the weekend?

Well done, Rachel!

After a gloomy start the sun is trying to shine here in Surrey.

I've had a busy morning chauffeuring my son to a job interview in Dorking. I checked the route on google maps but my satnav. still took me onto the M25! Not an enjoyable journey in a Fiesta.

I've just made a chocolate cake but don't intend to eat any of it.

oh my gosh, chocolate cake sounds so nice... I bet your house smells lovely too :thumbsup2

The weather is absolutely miserable in Birmingham. Rain rain and rain.

Just done my 4 mile lunch time walk around London (Fenchurch St to Shoreditch to St Katherines Dock to Fenchurch St). It was nice and cool but now I am boiling!!

There was Coca Cola cake in the canteen at lunch, sounds ewww! Tastes more like chocolate cake!

Happy Monday!

I hope you're all having a good start to the week.

I'm busy here getting my house tidy-ish and my laundry done ready to pack for my holiday next week. But I keep getting side tracked by house programmes on TV and my knitting, neither of which I have enough time for during term time.

ETA ... and the computer :)

I have had a couple of days off, going to see my sister later as its her birthday today. Don't know what she wants to do though.

I hope you're having a nice day off Nikki.

This morning I booked my 1st ever FP+

It went really well, i woke up at 6am (for work) opened the app on my phone and everything worked perfectly.
:tinker:
Our 1st day is in AK so I've got Kali River rapids, Dinosaur and Expedition Everest.

We're going to do the Safari at rope drop. :simba:

OMG I'm getting even more excited!!! :hyper: :smickey:
