Alli and Cole's 08/13/2015 SBP Escape w/ F! DP - Updated 09/29 Professional Photos Up!!!

I forgot to add I asked about adding the Resort Shoot since we're still entitled to something for our photography that we're skipping from the package. My planner sent me their contact info but it says we have to do it within a week of our event. I'd prefer to do it on our last day when we're staying at the Polynesian but I could probably make it work on the same day we have our MK shoot at Coronado... Ill have to call them tomorrow to see what they say.
 


Mini Update

We had a tornado warning when I woke up... and by woke up I mean was startled awake by what I thought originally was my neighbour renovating their house but quickly realized was large hail pounding the roof. Of course within 20 minutes it was all gone.

Once it stopped and I could hear myself think I called DFAP to try and book our resort shoot. The info my planner sent me it had to be booked within a week of our wedding but I asked and was allowed to book it for August 29th at the Polynesian... Yay! I have an awesome outfit picked out already!

Awww I'm sorry date nights are exactly an option for you in the coming weeks - hang in there! Just think of all the romantic time you'll have just the two of you at WDW (and there will be, promise!)

I'm glad you got confirmation of your shoot at the Poly and I LOVE the outfit you picked for it - it'll look simply perfect!!

Love your ensemble! Your veil is so delicate & pretty! I love the whole corset color ribbon- makes the back of your dress pop, you can see the detailing in the dress more.

Following along, just in time to see all the last minute planning before the big day! Everything looks wonderful so far :love:
 
So today @TinkLoverSam and I made up my timelines to pass out at our rehearsal dinner. I mentioned I'd gone to Michaels and bought a bunch of different coloured paper we tried printing on all 10 colours and I picked my favorite 7 and made two in each colour.image.jpg

I put the images in the background as watermarks in the paper and printed it all in one... I think it turned out pretty good!
Then - as I'd decided to make them scrolls - I pulled out the navy blue ribbon I bought to tie the rolls with and we discovered a minor issue as we unrolled it... It was translucent. I then remembered some other ribbon I'd bought for a failed project and pulled out the hot pink and the navy. We'd also bought pink flowers with seed Pearl centers and they matched the pink ribbon perfectly! We decided to put the pink ribbon around the scrolls then put the thin navy ribbon in the centre of it then attach the flower. We tried one out and it looked great so we cut all the ribbons then we made them all up.

We're bringing the papers and ribbons separately to Florida and we'll assemble them there so that the scrolls don't get squished. We'll assemble them either Friday night or Saturday morning and then drop them off at Garden Grove on Saturday at some point.

And thank you ladies for all the great comments about my Poly outfit. I posted it then immediately freaked out because I get self-conscious in full skirts but you all made me feel better.

I did end up changing my shirt choice though... The yellow top fits kind of wide at the waist so it didn't tuck in very nicely. Here's the updated version of my outfit.image.jpg

I even get to wear my Figgie shoes with it!

Oh I love the red!!! Really pops with the red in the skirt!

Those ribbons are so pretty and look like you bought them in a store! I love the scroll, and little things like that which really tie your theme/colors together.

Just two and a half weeks!!

We leave a week from this coming Friday! I'm so excited. I forgot all about that red shirt until I was worrying about the yellow washing me out in pictures then all of a sudden I remember I owned that one. I still have to figure out what Cole's going to wear. I'm thinking khakis and a solid bright coloured shirt maybe red or green... I'll have to see what he has.
