Disney Daily Birthdays – July Exercise Challenge

Kudos to all the color changers and folks making progress toward their goals in spite of the heat. :rainbow:

50 more minutes biking. Cambridge is a biking town. But it sure is nicer in the evenings when the tour buses have gone. I'm here taking some classes, so I mainly have chances to explore mornings and evenings.

Cool to say you studied at Cambridge! :cool2: I'm sure it is a nice college town.

well, border patrol let me back in so I'm back in the good ole U. S. of A. from my trip to St. Andrews. We basically parked the car at the tent and either walked/biked or ran everywhere. (and although tempted, I did not time every walk I took between the tent and the campground bathroom)

If you get a chance - St. Andrews, New Brunswick is a lovely place to visit.

I'm bringing back a whooping 547 fitness minutes.

Awesome! You go, girl! :yay:

20 minutes walking and another 60 minutes of yard work brings me to 403/1000

Keep up the great work, team!

For today's birthday, we celebrate the "birth" (aka opening) of the second installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise …

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
opened on July 7th, 2006, with an opening weekend gross of over $135 million in North America. It was, at the time, the fastest film to reach $1 billion in the worldwide box office, and until 2012 it was the highest grossing film released by the Walt Disney Studios.

On the same day, Magic Kingdom’s version of Pirates of the Caribbean reopened after a refurbishment which saw elements of the movie (including Johnny Depp’s character, Captain Jack Sparrow) added to the attraction.

Happy birthday, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest!

This month has not been going as well for the running workouts due to my schedule. I'm constantly on my feet chasing my kiddo though when I am home!
I did get out running last night. 30 minutes. Probably will not get to go out again until Friday unfortunately.

I am getting into the daily exercise routine again - so adding another 35 minutes. Today I did one of my exercise DVDs and was surprised how well I did with it! I think I can soon move on to the next level if I keep up with the exercise!

DS and I went to the art museum for a couple of hours today, so I'm estimating about 45 minutes of actual walking (oh, and stairs, lots of stairs. - We parked on the 5th floor of the T garage and somehow...missed the elevator.)

DH and I also took a short walk after dinner - 10 more minutes before it looked like it was about to pour.
