November 2015.....

I was unable to get a BOG dinner for my entire trip beginning 11/20 according to the IPO at Poly. Luckily they keep trying until a week before and I plan to keep constantly checking as well. I was able to get most of the others including an early CP breakfast.
That's just so weird :scratchin Our trip starts on the 20th also, but we arrive late at night so I only started looking for ADR's on the 21st. I was on at 6a.m. Sunday morning and there were SO many BOG dinner times available for every night the 22nd-27th! Even at 5:00 Sunday night there were quite a few left. I'm glad they keep checking and you definitely should keep checking. Back in March, DH and I got a last minute dinner reservation there 3.5 hours out :goodvibes Good luck, glad they got you everything else you wanted!

I was able to get BOG for dinner our last night. We had to change some of our plans around for that and a few other days but luckily I was able to switch some of the dining around. Thank goodness we always get park hoppers as a few days we will have to be at 1 park for most of the day and then go to another to be able to do all of the dining we wanted. The only thing left open is being able to make a lunch ADR at LTT and for the CP packages to become available.

Book our flights this morning, got great times and prices!! Tomorrow is my ADR date, I'm a bit nervous since I've heard there have been issues with the site lately.

Those all look good to me! Actually very similar to my choices. We are doing Via Napoli - I think my kids will prefer it. But I've heard Teppan Edo is good too.

Teppan Edo is my 12 (almost 13) year old DGD's favorite place to eat. We love it! Also...loved, loved, LOVED Bay Lake Towers! :yay: We leave Nov. 19th for Wilderness Lodge (half our group) and the Villas....my 2nd favorite resort! :thumbsup2 :tink:

Just booked AoA for Nov 15-20. So excited!

I really liked AoA too on my solo trip in 2013. The only downside for me was the LONG walk to the Little Mermaid section at the end of a full day at the parks. Loved the area (VERY quiet) but that walk just about did me in every night! :rotfl2: :tink:

I must say this year trying to make ADRs was difficult. The system was awful to have to deal with and I did not want to call. Finally, got most of what I wanted. I will not let challenges steal my Disney magic! LOL

DD had a strange/difficult experience too. She spent an hour (from 5-6AM) trying to book through her account and just couldn't get it to work. She finally logged into her sister's account (girls trip so we'll all be there) and booked everything without a problem! :confused3 :tink:

Was it her 180 day? You can start booking online on day 180 at 6 a.m., so that may have been why it didn't work for her from 5-6 a.m. (if it was eastern time) :)

Getting kind of worried about crowds for the week before Thanksgiving. I want my children to be able to enjoy this trip, especially my youngest DS who is special needs. Everytime anyone asks him where he wants to go, he says Disneyworld. Crossing my fingers and praying for some pixie dust ✨

That's the week we're going, and I'm getting a little worried too. It seems like that's the week everyone is going!!
I'm sure it'll be fine though. I'd rather be at a crowded Disney than sitting at home! :)

Uh oh, I'm going that week too! I wasn't worried about crowds before, but now I kind of am. Haven't been to WDW in 8 years & I figured this would be one of the best weeks to go & the FD suckered me in too, couldn't resist! We're staying at AKL Nov 16-21. ADRs have been difficult to snag, especially BOG, I really want to eat there! I don't care what time of day it is, I just want to be able to eat there one time bc it might be another 8 years before I get to go again! Guess I'll just keep checking up until the last day of our trip goes by.

Was playing around with my January ADR's this morning and ended up booking a GG breakfast for our Nov trip! Haven't been there since 2007 :)

It seems like it has been easy to get breakfast ressies but anything for dinner is hard to snag. I'm going the 14-21st. I can't wait until we finally get into double digits.

We will be heading back to WDW for 9 nights, arriving very late on the 20th. This will be our 2nd time that we have been there for Thanksgiving:cheer2: We know the crowds will be heavier then normal, but we did not think it was that bad last time, other then turkey day. We did mange to get a reservation at Crystal Palace on that day, so our DDs will be excited. We are all VERY EXCITED to be staying at GF during this time, we were upgraded from WL due to the construction, at no charge:jumping1:

We've got a lot in common for this trip:

1. We're only staying 7 nights, but we'll be arriving the 21st.
2. This will also be our second time spending Thanksgiving at WDW.
3. I also have 2 kids (but boys).
4. As you probably know from other threads, we were also upgraded for free to GF from VWL because of the construction.

Maybe we'll wind up in the same building!

I assume since you guys both originally booked at WL that's where you'd rather be, but I'm kinda jealous you got upgraded to GF lol!! Although I'm happy to be going back to the BWV again :)

I'm arriving on Thanksgiving for 8 nights and have 2 boys. I think I wrote this upthread, but I pretty much consider this our 1st Thanksgiving as we arrived late at night ON Thanksgiving in 2012. We went to Epcot on Black Friday, we had friends down there who were leaving Saturday and that's where they wanted to go. It was more crowded than we'd ever seen it but still very doable. We'll be there again for most of Black Friday since I want to see the Storytellers and unfortunately, we leave the next day :(

Yes, I definitely wanted to be at WL this time of year, but I can't really complain about a move to GF at no extra cost. The key for me was staying in the MK resort area since we usually stay at the Epcot/Boardwalk area in June.

The last time we were there for Thanksgiving (in 2013), we left on Black Friday, but this time, like you, we'll be leaving on Saturday. I've never seen the Storytellers or the Candlelight Processional and they're both on our to-do list, so we'll also be spending that day at Epcot. :)
