Fantasmic! & WOC Dining Packages. Good? Bad?

I am weighing my options with all of this. Are there kids menu options? Or do they get the same thing as the adults? How do you book dining reservations when hours are not available yet? I have noticed that DLR releases hours really close to dates vs the WDW rules.

TIA!

We already plan to have F! BB Dinner package. The CC lunch package for WOC sounds like a nice option too if we can get an ideal view with no squishing! Does anyone know how late you can do a lunch at CC?

I believe it is lunch till 4 and dinner after that. We did the latest lunch seating and it was perfect!

I dislike the food at WCT..we always do CC for lunch for the WOC package. We show up 20mins before the show and have a great spot. I've actually showed up when the show was starting and had no problem seeing everything and I'm only 5 feet tall and had a 3yr old with me.

Are the seating areas different for CC and WCT or is it just a general dining package seating area?

We did the CC WOC lunch, got late tickets but CM1 said CC guests can go to either, with any CC ticket; but this may be CM dependent. CM1, night before our reservations, highly suggested late show if you don't have young kids.

I had the chicken and chorizo tomato soup, short ribs and creme brulee. DW had salad, angus burger, and sorbet. Excellent food. There was a salmon entree and a couple other items. Menus change due to CC choosing fresh foods in season. Our server said the menu is designed with celiacs in mind and offered several GF choices/options.

When we arrived for the late show we asked CM2 to move down to lower bowl reserved, he was resistant in doing so and stated benches were for elderly and handicapped. I asked another CM3 to move down and he escorted us to the rail behind the wet zone. The rail was slightly full and there was a small area by the walkway where no one can stand that was dead center. We only had the CM4 that danced to the show in front of us during the show and he was out of view most of the entire show. The lower section, below where we stood, was the wet zone and several feet lower. We got misted, not wet.

If there are two shows, how it is determined which show you will attend? Is that something based on your dining time or does the server give you vouchers for whichever show you request?

For Fantasmic, I believe any reservation after 6:30 gets the second show automatically.

We had a 7:00 dinner reservation and we had the choice of which World of Color show we wanted.
