The Everything Pooh Sized Thread

So I will say when I did the bar stool test my legs barely fit. Today when I rode 7dmt I had a bit of wiggle room. Not much, but some. 7dmt was the highlight of our day. With that said I would never wait more than 15-20 minutes for it.

I didn't fit in the test seat at Forbidden journey and I'm smaller than your size.

I love my swimsuit from Torrid. We have one local, so I was able to try them on before buying, which was wonderful. I am a pants size 18 as well. I tired on a 1x, way too tight for my comfort. I fell somewhere between a 2x and 3x. I went with the 3, since it was in my fav print they had, but hindsight i wish i went with the 2x. But I do love my suit, great quality, and with the cross strap design for the back, i felt it held the "girls" up well. This is obviously the model, but here's the suit i bought last year. I loved the ruffle down the front to hide all pooh belly, lol. The link is the only google image i could find of it since it's last years fashion, i think this is Indian ebay.

I recently saw some gorgeous suits on fullbeauty.com you should check that site as well.

My sister and I are both Pooh-sized, a 20 and a 22. Will we fit together on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, do you think, or will we have to sit separately? As a matter of fact, I don't even know if the cars on that ride are designed for two people to sit together at all.

I have read many other places that say 7DWT is too small for large people. We have a Fast Pass for it on our trip in June, and am wondering if I should switch. I don't care if I am uncomfortable, I just want to be able to get on and ride with my daughter. I'm 5'4", 280 and a size 28. What do those of you that have been on it think?

My DH and I went on this in September, we are both Pooh Sized, I am 5'4 300 lbs and he is 6 feet, with very broad shoulders, at the time he was 370 Lbs, we were able to ride together, it was a tight fit but possible. it was most uncomfortable in my knees over anything.

I just returned from Disney last week. I am 5'6" and weigh 280. I wear a size 24 women's. I had NO ISSUES on mine train. I was not uncomfortable, in fact it was my favorite ride. Now.... I did ride with my children so riding with another large adult may have been a different experience. Sounds like the above poster did okay though riding with another adult. Btw if you have any other questions about rides I'll try to help you. I was a nervous wreck before my trip and was very appreciative of the advice I was able to find ;)

Any recommendations for good shoes? I get blisters almost every time and my feet are in agony halfway through the day. I tried the blister stick thing and that didn't help. I almost think it made it worse by making my feet feel slippery.

I was just there for a week and wore my asics gel tennis shoes every day with good sports socks ;)

Good news for everyone... We just returned after visiting for 9 days. We rode everything, and I fit on everything. No issues at all. 7DMT was tight in the legs, but honestly no because I am pooh-sized, but because I am an adult. Those seats are small and clearly meant for kids. But seriously, fitting in it will not be a problem. Relax, enjoy the time you are there, and don't worry!

Dede Idm, did you ride Sum of All Thrills? I was down there years ago and could not ride, but I have lost weight since then and am about your weight and height so I was hoping you could tell me :)

I wanted to let folks know about an interesting video by Theme Park Earth (on youtube)...they have a video of the 7D ride with a good close up view of safety bar towards the end of video. Hope it helps others!

I know there has been much talk about the dreaded 7dmt safety bar. It has been the cause for much anxiety for me. Once I got there and rode it I realized it was not such a big deal. I have really large thighs and butt and I made it with room to spare. I am a 22/24. Most of my weight is from below my ribs to above my knees. That video shows how much room a non-pooh sized person has. I personally had a harder time riding Barnstormer just because of where my weight is carried on my body. I will reiterate the advice given by many PP. don't pull that lap bar all the way down. It doesn't have to go down very far for it to lock. To all of you still worried about this ride I would say try it. You may be very surprised to find yourself enjoying the ride.
Also, I am so glad I found this thread. It put so many of my fears to rest. I have spent all of my summers at Cedar Point and now I cant ride any of the big thrill rides and i can't ride the family style rides with my pre-schooler. I understand the safety aspect and I know my inability to ride is solely my fault but I love having WDW as a place where I can ride everything with my child and even ride the bigger rides without fear of the "walk of shame." And a big :thanks: to everyone who has posted on this thread.

What kind of stick did you try? I use body glide stick with good moisture wicking socks and haven't gotten a blister in 10 multiple day trips.

It was Dr Scholl's Blister Defense stick. I probably had regular socks, not moisture wicking ones.

I have never had any problems with Body Glide. It looks like a deodorant stick. Moisture wicking socks are a necessity in my opinion, anything to keep your feet dry and not rubbing.

I have NEVER has a Tennis shoe feel as comfortable as Asics! I've bought 2 pairs of the gel shoes. I would certainly tell everyone out there to give them a try!!! Just wondering how they dry after getting wet? also what socks did you wear with them?
