Try for A&E FP+, or just use the DAS?

I really think that it was because that it was less than a week since the roll out. There was some issue at every ride concerning the DAS. We had a great time anyway, and I know that when we go next Spring it will be fine. It was just an "ugh" moment. Glad to know that I wasn't doing anything wrong.

You are exactly correct according to my experience. We just asked for a DAS return time. I think that's the only thing to say. I just took my son's magic band to the attraction and after locating the CM who was responsible for DAS they scanned the band and all three of us came up. They told us the return time, but it also came up on my itinerary. Just wanted to share my experience.

We used our FP for them, we didn't want to tie up the DAS for such a long time period. That being said when I went to make our FPs I went right for A&E and the only times I was able to get for them were the afternoon which stunk bc my kids are up more in the morning. We ended up getting a 3:00PM on our last full day at Magic Kingdom. That was literally the only time they had available. My toddler actually was napping at that time and we had to wake him up to meet them and he was CRANKY but he loves A&E. He seemed timid around Elsa but loved Anna but again he was cranky and he was frowning in all the pictures, lol. If I could do it over again I think I would of been better off using our DAS and just going there first thing in the morning and getting a return time when the wait isn't too bad and it wouldn't take the DAS up for a long period of time.
