We fit! April 26th thru May 2nd we visited the Fort. My wife had ordered a new tent, as some of you might remember, that I thought was 14x14 but, when it arrived was 16x16. She also had me book a preferred site and from looking during a previous visit I was doubtful that we would fit. Arriving right at 11AM, we stopped to check in early just in case size turned out to be a problem. Sent us to a site in the 200 loop, it would have been fine except for a large tree at the back of the pad, so back we went to check in again. Got assigned site 324 and it was perfect! About 20x24 and we even had room to angle the tent on the pad. Great view of the canal with lots of wildlife. Deer, turkey, armadillos and lots of deer flies that thrived on DEET .
Thanks to everyone for their patience as I resize my pictures to appease the server gods.

Good deal! I was a little concerned when I first read your title but now I get it.

Now, about those pictures...popcorn::

What tent do you have? Exactly how didn't it fit? Our tent footprint is 16x7. :scared:

Ours is 16x16 cabin tent from wallyworld. Various other sites wouldn't have even been close in the 100 to 300 loops. Best to add tent size requirement to your ressie beforehand. We did and the site would have been fine except for a single errant tree. They utilized the "secret list" to quickly find us a wonderful space.
