Attraction, shop or food service?

Halloween was more fun than Christmas. IMHO

I'd like to do the Flower Garden spring show sometime.

Growing up we went several times in October but they didn't have all the stuff they have now. I don't remember any decorations or any Halloween parades or party.

omg that's horrible

Water still draining in Houston and more added this morning. WE got "lucky" today, beginning at 5 AM. Loud thunder woke me followed by downpour. When all was said and done we registered FIVE INCHES in the rain gauge from 5-9 AM. :faint: DH left for work and was immediately dispatched to the Cat Spring community with flooded roads and LOTS of trees down; we didn't get much wind but they did. He said they'd be lucky if they finished clearing the roads by the end of day. :faint: Some areas have had 20" of rain in the month of May but, an example of the severe drought a couple years ago, all that rain has only filled Lake Travis (Austin) half way...it was bone dry during the drought. But then we have other dams at capacity. The evacuation call on the Brazos River came this morning; it's currently at 117' and rising rapidly from this mornings rains. School was cancelled again. But (unlike Diane's "snow days") our students will not be required to make the days up since it's at the end of the school year and effects pretty much the entire State. They're excited about that! :hyper: ... and, as Ed would say, "that's the weather report from the WITW News Desk". :rotfl2: :tink:
