November 2015.....

We booked a while ago for Nov 5-13 at AKL-Kidani! It's going to be 13 of us, which is a little over-the-top, and had me quite a bit worried in the planning stages! But we'll probably split up most of the time - because the three people in my family are rope-droppers, but the rest tend to sleep in!... because my brother has five children under six and it'll be a pretty intense experience for these parents of an only child... And meet up after the afternoon break for pictures all together, and dinner! We got almost all the ADRs we wanted, so I'm pretty excited!

(Of course when I discovered it was going to be "Jersey Week" and the marathon I got a little mad! I had followed recommendations on a website to get low crowds, so easyWDW's crowd level 8 felt like a slap in the face... But with a good mix of rope dropping, picking the right park, FP+s and afternoon breaks, I'm confident it'll work out fine!)

I was there last year. We left that Saturday that was the last weekend of Food and Wine. MK got a little crowded after lunch and at night.
But you are right, taking the break in the afternoon is a great plan so you rope drop people will have good park hours and the break to tolerate the larger crowds at night. But I will say, especially with kids, stay away from Epcot on that Saturday of the last of F&W. It was crazy dodging people.
Enjoy. I'm leaving that Thursday this time.

Hey November friends! We are going 11/10-11/17. I have never decided my own parks/restaurants without a TA's help, but she has still not gotten back to me on her recommendations and my ADR day is tomorrow. Any thoughts/recommendations on these?
Arrival day: 1900 park fare
Wednesday: Epcot with akershus for lunch and either Teppan edo or via Napoli for dinner
Thursday: Christmas party with crystal palace at 4:00
Friday: HS with ohana for dinner
Saturday: MK with BOG for dinner
Sunday: AK with tusker house before park opening
Monday: MK with BOG for lunch
We have park hoppers which we have never had so I don't know if I should try to utilize them??
 
We are counting down - 11/15 - 11/22 with free dining (thank you TA! muhahaha!) It will be our youngest's first trip, I am so excited! Now, if only time could move a bit quicker!
 
Book our flights this morning, got great times and prices!! Tomorrow is my ADR date, I'm a bit nervous since I've heard there have been issues with the site lately.

Those all look good to me! Actually very similar to my choices. We are doing Via Napoli - I think my kids will prefer it. But I've heard Teppan Edo is good too.
 


I just booked my ADRs for my FD!! The system had a few glitches but I got 2 CRT(one lunch and one pre-opening breakfast), a BOG dinner, pre-opening CP breakfast, and my Fantasmic! dinner package!! I'm still hoping for an early Akershus breakfast and Garden Grill, so I'll keep looking but overall a very successful ADR morning!! :cool1:
 
We're booked for 10/31 through 11/6 and staying at CSR for the first time!

We'll also be experiencing Food and Wine for the first time and that has us really excited. Plus with free dining we were able to get every ADR that we wanted!
 
This Jersey family is booked for Jersey week!! Oct 30-Nov 6th :) tickets bought for MNSSHP on Nov 1st. Debating what to do on Halloween. Resort activities, mall trick or treat or the town of celebration...any thoughts??

I must say this year trying to make ADRs was difficult. The system was awful to have to deal with and I did not want to call. Finally, got most of what I wanted. I will not let challenges steal my Disney magic! LOL

I can't agree more.. I did call as well as the computer to fix a few and add on HDDR i spoke with the BEST CM in all of calling! had to send a letter to Disney about him. He was that great!
 
Just posted on another Nov. thread. I made my ADR's yesterday and had no problems getting everything we wanted including 2 BOG dinners :cheer2: There were many times available multiple days for BOG dinner as well as lots of other restaurants people have reported as being difficult to get. I was really worried this time b/c of what others have said; never worried before lol, never made my ADR's at 6a.m. at 180 days till yesterday! I'm not discounting everyone else's troubles, just telling my experience :) Went back on at 2:00 and changed one BOG time and still saw multiple times available on every day 11/22-11/27; then around 5:00 I added Cali Grill and still saw BOG availability. I also played around looking at restaurants we weren't booking and saw lots of times for 1900 PF which many have said they can't get.
Around 9 last night DH was playing around and said tons of restaurants still had many times on Thanksgiving day. Not sure if it has anything to do with FD ending the 19th or what, but it didn't look bad at all! Except Raglan Rd......nothing there for some reason.

Yayyy! Congrats!!!! I don't know about everyone else but I'm going November 11-17 & up until the date food & wine ends, the ADR's have been completely booked for my dates. I got most of what I wanted booking 180 days out but certain restaurants I'd never had trouble booking before like H&V breakfast and Boma dinner were completely booked by 7:15am on my 180th day booking window. I had to call in at 7am because I have multiple reservations and the system wouldn't let me book my +10 at 6am but still, I've never had trouble booking Boma or H&V before. But for November 17th & on there was plenty of availability for things even checking a few days after the 180 day window. Makes me nervous about the week I picked but we're rope drop people anyway so we'll make the best of it. As of right now I'm happy with what we have & H&V & Boma would just be bonuses. I hope F&W is not too crazy that week. I went last year in September when it first opened up and it was so lovely not having to wait in any lines for those booths. I know not to go on the weekends so hopefully it won't be too bad during the week.
 
I was unable to get a BOG dinner for my entire trip beginning 11/20 according to the IPO at Poly. Luckily they keep trying until a week before and I plan to keep constantly checking as well. I was able to get most of the others including an early CP breakfast.
