Hey all... I just wanted to throw a reminder out there as you start thinking about little FE gifts.
Remember it's supposed to be FUN! You don't need to go over the top, spend a lot of $$ on expensive gifts, stress out or worry about pleasing everyone!! This is just a fun little "extra" thing to do on our cruise, and something for the kids (and adults too who want to join in) to find a little surprise in their FE hanger during the week when they look inside. I've been reading on other boards that this has sometimes gotten a bit out of control, with people feeling they have to spend a lot of money, or not participating for fear they won't please everyone. It's not Christmas with family! It's just a fun little token gift to make someone smile! Have fun with it, but don't make it a stressful ordeal. Kids are thrilled with anything! At least I know mine is! :thumbsup2

We will be taking our first Disney cruise with ya'll, and just found out about the FE. Is it to late to join? If not we have 2 Adults and 2 teenagers (15 & 13) who would like to participate.

When will we have definite confirmation on our FE group? Just wanted to start shopping! Excited to do this and hope we can plan a meet and greet one day by the pool at the ice cream bar.

I was going to give it at least another week or so.... what do you think?? I want to give everyone enough time to buy/make their gifts for FE, but I don't want to shut out others who might be checking back in now that we are getting closer. Should we wait till the end of May? Is that cutting it too close? I'd love some feedback from others on this.... whatever you all want to do is good by me!!!
And YES, let's plan on a meet and greet for Sunday (at Sea day) afternoon.... maybe around the family pool?? Sounds fun!!!
 
Hi Everyone! Right now we have 19 Adults and 17 kids. Do we want to keep it in two groups as is? Or do we want to split both into two group to make them smaller? That would be two groups for the adults, and two for the kids? Keep in mind we may get a few more families responding to participate before we close these groups in another week or so.
If we split both adults and kids into two groups, we will have 8-10 adults in one group and 8-10 kids in a group. This might be easier and less costly with around 10 or so per group.... but want to get your opinions.
Also remember to give me your names, kids names, and cabin room numbers!

HEY ALL.... I was given a great suggestion and had not thought of it earlier. We will just organize by cabins... that way everyone has the option of giving to adults, kids, or both! Makes it much easier! I will need names, ages of kids, cabin # and any other info you wish to provide!! GROUP WILL BE CLOSED MAY 27TH!! That gives us 30 days before we sail!! If your name is NOT in green on list, I will need you to confirm you still want to participate, or you will be left out of this group! Please respond and let me know so I can add you to the list.
I will then split up cabins into two or three groups... depending upon number of people we have by next week! Getting close... so please let me know soon!!!

Hi there! Just booked this cruise today and so excited!! We'd love to be part of the FE group- sounds like so much fun! We are a family of four- Mike, Cyndi Olivia (age 6) and Ava (age 4). Not sure what our cabin number is yet but will let you know as soon as I find out.

Sandra... Thank you. I appreciate that! It's really no problem, just hoping we can get everyone to confirm that they are still interested. From what I understand, some people are on other boards (non-Disney) I think, and are forming groups there.. so maybe many that once expressed interest here have moved on. Nevertheless, we have 11 cabins here (37 people) total that have confirmed. So, as long as I can Cabin #'s from these families, I think we will have a good turn-out for our FE exchange. We are excited too and can't wait!!

I've updated this list with those that expressed interest/or confirmed. I've deleted the names that we have never heard back from. It looks like we have 13 cabins total. 24 Adults and 20 kiddos! (44 people!). I think I'll just divide into cabin groups and you can do FE gifts for everyone in group, or just the adults, or just the kids. YOU CHOOSE!!! I NEED TO GET CABIN NUMBERS PLEASE FROM THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT GIVEN ME THEM YET!!! Also would appreciate any other info you wish to provide, ie: allergies if any, etc. We want to close this up by Wed. May 27th, and let everyone know who is in which group.... Time is a flyin'!!! I have also received request to PM the final groups to some people who do not wish their names on the public board. I have no issue with doing this but please keep in mind that in order to send or receive PM's, you must first post on DIS boards 10 times! If this doesn't happen, I cannot PM you!!

Hey everyone! We have decided to be somewhat crazy given our nature to plan things well in advance, especially big things like this. Anyway, we are joining you on this cruise and would love to do the FE group if it's not too late. We are DH, DW, and DD (13) in cabin 9146.
