Snack
So as previously mentioned, the disappointing Citrus Swirl left me with a hankering for some good old boring plain amazing delicious vanilla soft serve ice cream. And finally late that same night, I scratched that itch...
There's a whole story over on my Trip Report about a rude guest in line with me at this place, and the wonderful CM who made the it all better. Maybe I was influenced by that experience, but it sure seemed like this was the best regular boring plain old vanilla soft serve I ever tasted.

I know, right?! I almost didn't include this entry in my Dining Report, but I thought there must be some people who would "get it" and look and that photo and go "Dang, that looks delicious right now!"

That does look yummy! I was just thinking some vanilla soft serve would hit the spot yesterday. I ended up getting some banana cream pie shake thing that looked so good....it was disappointing. Should have stuck with the vanilla plan!

This dining report is giving me deja vu! I'm going to also comment over on the TR, but I'm so glad you were able to have some nice "pixie dusted" experiences to make what seemed like a somewhat frustrating day better!
And sometimes, vanilla soft serve is just what you need. But I'm biased, as vanilla is my favorite ice cream flavor

And it WAS pretty darn tasty!I may be a certified chocoholic, but even I can admit that looks pretty darn tasty!
I haaaaate when that happens! I stopped for just some ice cream one day after work a couple months ago, but then the menu tempted me into ordering a "Pecan Turtle Blast" instead... and I instantly regretted it. They used SALTED nuts in it... heavily salted. I don't mind a little salted caramel, but I took one bite of this and was like taking a bite of a salt lick. It was HORRIBLE. I was so mad!!!

Breakfast
Before leaving home, I had read about this on the DIS and knew that I needed to try it...
Hot Breakfast Wrap - Sausage, Spinach, Scrambled Eggs, and Goat Cheese. With a French Vanilla Iced Coffee.
It was good, just not as good as I was hoping. It was lacking on the goat cheese, big time. If they doubled up on that, it would have been perfect!
A couple more photos, unwrapped and of the inside of it...
And the coffee was delicious, as usual.

Breakfast

It was good, just not as good as I was hoping. It was lacking on the goat cheese, big time. If they doubled up on that, it would have been perfect!

That looks good! I'm a sucker for goat cheese. Or any type of cheese. You can never have too much.
Good to know that the breakfast was decent. I cannot live without iced coffee. We may have to stop here in June, since my fiance likes to get to AK as early as possible haha.

That looks so good!!! But that iced coffee is calling my name! I think I had it on our list last time to stop at Kusafiri, but I don't think we did. Definitely back on the list!

I agree that sometimes you just want a classic - vanilla soft serve is one of my favorites!
I'm not a big fan of eggs of any kind but the concept of the wrap sounds good! Was it just a normal tortilla? Maybe if it was a flavored tortilla or another kind of pastry type thing it would have been more enjoyable? Glad the coffee didn't disappoint!

I didn't mind the tortilla, it was just a little dry. And goat cheese is so creamy, so had they doubled up on that, I think it would have been about perfect. Sadly, I think they're pre-made and kept in a warmer, so I don't know how successful ordering one with double cheese would be?
It did not! It was rather delicious!
It really was lacking on the goat cheese, which I didn't know how much I liked until I had the scrambled eggs with goat cheese and chives last year, from Boma. I was hoping this would be sort of a handheld version of those, with the addition of spinach and sausage. Not so much, though.Even though I wasn't there with you to see for myself, judging by the picture it def looks like it was lacking some serious goat cheese there. I'm a HUGE fan of goat cheese so had there been more of that, I'm sure I'd have loved it too!

I read about that sandwich on your PTR and hoped I could get one for breakfast but we did something else. I'm sorry you didn't like it as much as you expected but happy I didn't miss out on much.
